It goes beyond that. I have a friend that was on here. She is literally gorgeous, educated and upper class. Her ad stated that she was looking for someone that fit into her world. She had men that had two teeth, wearing stained Tshirts and boxer shorts contacting her. (I was surprised at the large number that fit that description)

So let me get this straight....you're a disgusting pig and you think you have a chance with a doctor who is pretty enough to be a model?

Yeah, what IS up with that?  What's wrong with some people?  I'm not gorgeous, college degreed, nor upper class (?) but still...I've had several guys show up for a first meet with stained t-shirts, tennis shoes and filthy jeans.  Missing teeth, unkempt hair and scraggly nails completed the picture.  What is the deal; have people lost the fine art of dating'?  I like men who dress like grownups... nice shirt, casual slacks...and 'big-boy shoes'.   ...but perhaps I'm just too picky.  <sigh>

I like the comment someone added though, if he doesn't look like he could put me through a wall, he's not worth getting undressed for!  Too funny...

Oside, lol, most people want someone who they have things in common with, it's just a natural thing to want.
That way you already have things to talk about, things you like to do etc.
I'm picturing a guy with two buck teeth in a t-shirt with spaghetti sauce stains on it and wearing boxer shorts! lol

In fact if they have a few extra pounds it usually means a fatter ass for me to play with.

That's what I was taught by my first dom. It's not an ass, it's a target. More playground for him to play on. LOL

Oh goodness, yes, I have been there. It boggles the mind, the self-deception made possible by the human brain!

That was the motto of a best friend of mine who is now passed away. I didn't really understand it until I discovered BDSM.

He bequeathed it to me and now I'm sig-lining it. LOL

Cin,
that is so funny because Daddy was just here a little bit ago and whispered to me that if I ever decided to go on a diet, I'd better never lose the booty...  it's not enormous, just "juicy" as He might say.  Then He gave it a big smack.  Just gotta love a T&A kind of guy when you've got more than enough T&A to go around.  LOL.....

Ohhh but the ones who complain about womens weight are soooo perfect. I guess its easy to see what someone else needs to work on but not what is right in front of them. Hypocritical people like that I do not need in my life.

Seriously, some of the pictures. Greasy hair, stained shirts, disheveled clothes....and this is the picture they send to a prospective mate?

Level and popeye: Thanks for the encouragement!  I have ended up waiting a little longer on the weights due to some pretty sore muscles, but I'll do them again either today or tomorrow.  I've done the pilates daily, though.  As for pup, he's lost a total of 12 pounds now and is doing fairly well.  I'm trying hard to control what goes into his mouth as far as food goes.

I've been too hard on myself in past efforts and given up due to injury or just from the struggle.  This time I'm just trying to set a few things straight and not go at it so hard.  The pilates don't leave me sore, but they do work.  I expect (because of past success) to see definate improvement in my tummy area in 2-3 weeks.  I've taken measurements and photos of myself to use for comparison later.  Each 3 weeks, I'll take measurements and photos again.  My very loose goal is to shed 4 pounds by January, but toning muscle and losing fat is more important than the actual weight.

I think the food journal is a good idea.  Typically when I do those I realize that I'm under-eating rather than the opposite.  I know that can be just as detrimental, since my body will cling to fat if it is underfed.

You're right.  Encouragement is a HELL of a lot more effective in helping someone to succeed than abusing them and putting them down is.

Zuma, good for you!
Yes, go EASY when you're first starting out!
You don't want to hurt yourself and have to stop.
Plenty of time later on after your muscles are limber and strong to "step it up" a bit.
And yes, encouragement really does help!
All the trainers at my gym are very good in that dept and will help you out in any way they can.
The trick is to set small achievable goals for yourself that you can do. I'd rather lose 2 pounds in a month than 0 pounds!
Good girl Zuma!
Keep at it!

I agree. And while I'll always be working on trying to get healthier with my eating and excercise, I'm only willing to be with men who love the jiggle and curves.

Society tries hard enough to make me feel bad about myself; I won't have a partner doing it, too.

Quick Reply, not to the previous poster
For those who would be interested, here is a nice site to calculate your eating and daily activity level. Even if you use it to track one day, a week, or a month, it's interesting to see what has actually been consumed.
http://www.fitday.com
There are also places on the net to give you a better clue to your body mass, your nutrient intact for which food you've eaten, how many calories for your age, height, weight in order to maintain your current weight, or lose some. Lots of free things to help. The above one is just to kinda get started.
Enjoy

Ok, that's it...I'm going out to eat at the Chinese Buffet and Walmart so I can scout out nicely filled out male butts and ponder to myself if they're secretly submissives...

So okay, this thread is supposed to be about Domly butts and I'm just getting distracted here by nice big "targets".

If a positive reinforcement thread were started for diet and/or exercize, I'd bite.  I've skipped exercizing this past weekend, and am going to force myself to do it today...and I am so not in the mood.  I don't mind doing it once I've started each day, but getting started is aaargh.

It's taken 2 years after my last chemo and surgeries before I'm starting to get some energy back, but still I have old back fractures to deal with and both of my knees flare up (tendonitis) whenever I've done too much gardening, mowing the grass, or house work and it makes me not want to do exercize.  Bought a pilates book months back that I haven't ever opened.  I wish that buying the book was enough to get into better physical shape, lol.  Damn, where's that genie in a bottle when you need one...

Back to the original posting:
When I was sub, I didn't get bashed for my weight for some reason, maybe because I didn't post my pic and if the Dom focused on weight instead of getting to know me as a person, he lost my interest...and yes, I noticed that most of the Doms who were rigid about overweight women were also overweight.  Someone in the lobby chatroom made me sick by saying that whenever he first collared a sub, he put her on a bread and water diet for 2 weeks or more.  That is soooooo healthy.

In a way, it's not the fat that's an issue, as I knew a girl in school who was fatter than anyone else (probably 300 lbs), but she left everyone behind in the dust on our Olympics Day...broke our school record by doing over 600 sit ups...it's when they don't care about the impression they're making.  You know, dirty fingernails, stained clothing, body odor, and a feeling about themselves that reflects in their posture.  Or an attitude...trying to beat someone to the hurt.

I hate seeing a nice big teddybear of a man not standing proud, you know what I mean?  Like...if we lust over them there must be something wrong with our tastes.  (Won't even get started on how going bald can have the same effect on men...)
