Your (equal) rights would be violated by discrimination when men can choose to be subs or slaves, and you can’t because you are a woman.

The most important right is the right to choose.

You chose to be a sub or slave…..

wow, juliaoceania, that was an amazing response. equality is really something i've been struggling with. i'm a strong feminist, but i'm getting into the lifestyle, and have been fighting myself about it. I see myself as equal to everyone, dom or not, and dont want to lose my identity as a strong person.

Across BDSM population, women and men submit to other women and men in all permutations. This suggests to me that the choice to submit is a function of sexuality, psychology and orientation more than a function of how one feels about the equivalence of genders.

Thus, I see your belief in equal rights to not at all conflict with your choice to exercise your sexual inclinations with the person of your choice.
