Have your sub sit on a heating pad for 10 minutes directly after your beating her ass. It works well for the obvious reasons.

Chained,

There might not be a 'need' for either partner. Most of my play, rough as it can be, doesn't leave any sorts of marks after a couple of hours. Yes, there can be the welts from certain types of toys on certain parts of the body. Those usually go away after 2 or 3 days.

But some people want to 'mark' or 'be marked'. To remember the play, either from the giving or receiving end. Of course, if the one bruised is married, then that sometimes puts a damper on things.

Do some testing with her cycles as well.. a lot of subs report they bruise more during their menses. i always figured it was because i am taking a pain reliever that has aspirin in it, but never know, it could also be hormonal.

ChainedDesire.. i love bruises. a lot of us like the reminder aspect of them, and for some, it's like a merit badge.. for me, it's a witness to things i can't remember too well.. like the whiff of cologne on a pillow.. triggers some memory of the submissive or surrendered feelings to see or bump the bruises. a LOt of subs, slaves, or bottoms have little folders holding pics of their marks from special scenes. It's amazing but i would never show a friend a pic of my round dimpled ass.. but will in a heartbeat send her pics of His handiwork on that same round dimpled ass.

What's really funny is the actual skill of scening with whips without leaving marks is much more difficult, and He's practiced thousands of hours to do so. (Literally 20+ hours per week) i have to beg for the marks because He feels it's lacking finesse.

Ya know...that idea about hitting a girl with the edge of a paddle really bothers me; anybody else? Dang...why not just use a baseball bat then? I'm sorry...the paddles I know would/could break bones.

I'd much rather see someone use a cane; nice and whippy. They may break skin but aren't gonna break bones (not with the whippy ones)

I'm an absolute lover of marks; singletails, canes, needles...yummmmmmmmmmmmmmm

It seems like it would be the equivalent of a play 'nooner'. You get a hotel room, take a few moments to drink a glass of wine, maybe kiss. Very romantic.

You take off your clothes. The dom wields the paddle.

WHAM!!

No warmup. (How could you warm up to THAT????) It's over before you know it.

You put your clothes back on. Finish the wine. A quick peck on the cheek. You limp out of the room, and go back to work for the afternoon grind.
