I am new to the site,I am interested to know what every ones experience has been with the people on here. I have seen different profiles that have the same pix on them claiming to be diff. people. I even had contact with a person here that said she ws someone and it turned out that she was not at all who see claimed to be, I caught her, and she just disappeared and her profile was gone as well.Are their any REAL people on here? I am for real and I am shocked and pissed at the idea of a bunch of fakes are here.Has anyone else had this experiance?

I would say if I saw profiles that seemed fake I would block the profile and move on. I think you have been told this before but it could use repeating, you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find a princess, you have to pull a lot of weeds to find a rose. It is harder for dominants than for femsubs... there just are not as many of us as there are of you. It takes effort and time to find the right person, you seem a little impatient to me. Anything worth having is worth taking the time to get.

First of all, like LA said, there are real and the not so real, and most likely a few shades of gray thrown in for good measure. The Internet is as real as those of us who use it want it to be. Your profile says you have a vivid imagination so i guess i'm kind of surprised you're so shocked by the idea that sometimes things aren't what they seem -- sometimes better, sometimes worse. Wait, now Benji is the blow up doll with a slow leak? I think its just a ploy to get someone to duct tape him. Yes, I have run into fakes no here. Everyone (but Julia) has. I take them with a grain of salt and focus on the good ones. Its the same as just about anywhere else though. I have encountered the same sort of boastful full-of-stories people in rea life. You just take them as they come and ignore the majority of what they say. DV

I have found that this site is relitivly free of so called"fakes" not to say there are not any just fewer of them. Alt. however is packed fullof em. Gandalf

we are all real.... but you confuse Being real.. with Fair and honest representation of oneself. some are just Real fakes and liers some are just Real honest and open we are all Real... Just for ... Their Reality Really Sucks!!! and well for others..... IT's Really Great to be Us!

I don't know why it is shocking that people would be less than honest in a virtual environment when the same occurs in person. Nor do I think we need to have a group therapy moment and share our tales of woe. In fact, the longer I'm online the more inclined I am to believe that those that squawk the loudest about who is or isn't real are usually the ones with something to hide themselves. Dear alongrider, Ladies and Gentlemen; Unfortunately, good people who are real are at times overshadowed by the bad. There is only one way to make sure a person is real and, that is to meet them face to face. Even then, you still have to find out if they are full of ego, pride or bull pies or, they are humble, proud and understated in their knowledge, skills and experiences. I've met alot of real women on here (several in the "real" world), and I've been blown off and disappeared on by lots of strange women as well . Most importantly, I met my one and only baby on here, so just be patient, there are zebras of all stripes online and off.

Online is no different from the in the flesh world, there are cheaters liars and fakes in both worlds. I think it is simply eaiser to cheat lie and be fake online. As well there are those who truly believe it is not cheating if it is only online. Just keep the radar out, be aware of the red flags and never ignore that gut feeling that tells you something just isnt right. Cause it probably is not. I haven't had a chance to do this yet so here I go 'Gah I hate it when someone interesting just disappears!!' And here I thought the whole 'No one sends back a message when you send one' was annoying. I think it just sucks a lot worse to have someone seem interesting and then poof.. they are gone. But heck I knew I was in for a long haul to find someone interesting and as others have said, it just takes patientence. And spelling. Plus there is the dual edge sword of messaging new profiles. Sure you might get in on the ground floor of someone who might be great but its also more risk of someone just jerking you around.

Alongrider, refer to the advice given in your first posting, and follow through on that ... in my opinion. Online is just medium, munches are another, bdsm clubs are another. Mix them together and you might just get lucky ... rely solely on one avenue, and you are going to get frustrated. Happy hunting,

There are plenty of real folks here, there are also a large number of game playing arseholes. The trouble is that until you start to get to know someone, ie. meet and spend time with them in the real world it can be difficult to spot the diffrence. In E-space people can pretent to be just about anything or anyone. The first time you run up against it, it can be a bit of a surprize, then you learn to take that possibility into account. Sometimes it still wastes your time when you don't spot it early on, but you get to the point where you can mostly just shrug it off. It is then a very pleasent surprize when someone turns out to be real when you meet them.
