sorry about the name bg! I tend to just get the first or last part for short-

no, I don't think you'll find many cubans in the lifestile- ..well... I'm not really in "the lifestyle" ...always felt it, but have never lived it...and my hubby (he's not cuban- he's american) does not have any sub tendencies (which I would like a lot ;) ) quite the opposite- we butt heads quite often! lol!!!

I was born and raised in Cuba and came in '95 (I'm not balsera...not that brave...just coincidence I guess).

talk to you later and nice to meet you!!!!

did you come here already knowing english or did you learn it in cuba.... just curious, since you write it well and you haven't been here that long, my ex hubby came in 94 he still doesn't speak a word of english...if your hubby isn't into bdsm and you are that can be a bummer....have you tried introducing him into it? my ex would of never even understood it, but anyhow, doesn't make any difference now, i am happily divorced and very happily owned by a wonderful Master : )

i hope you are right, dixiedumpling, but i know SOOO many people here in conservative Oklahoma that hate her, it makes me wonder. i think people are intimidated by an intelligent, successful woman (particularly those that are not so intelligent and sucessful themselves). i know in this part of the country, anyway, a lot of people are more comfortable with the idea of women as maids and baby makers.

Hopefully i am dead wrong!

It's not her intelligence, or her success, it's her ultra liberal dare I say socialist policys that the right and the center fear.

I'm a moderate conservative. Which means in the state of Washington I get called a Facist when I'm on the west side, and a commie when I'm on the east side.

I really hope McCain runs and wins. He seems to be a reformer, and someone willing to take ideas from the democrats rather than be a partisan weasle. Not to mention he served honorably in the USN without the issues Mr Kerry had.

I like Arnold, but not enough to be president. Shoot me dead if another Bush is president. We shouldn't have families in politics, or career politcians, I find it rather undemocratic to have either of those. I'm not a fan of Hillary at all. She's way too leftish for my tastes, and just, rubs me in all the wrong ways.

I would also like to nominate Brian Boitano as a possible president type. We know for sure he'd kick an ass or two, because that's what Brian Boitano would do.

My take is that its unlikely that Hillary will ever run for President, despite the fact that psuedo journalists on Faux, er Fox News continue to use her to whip the Republican masses into a seathing frenzy. Never underestimate the Republican propaganda machine (including Faux News).

Carl Rowe is a genius, immoral but a genius. The right wingers kicked Democrat butt by lieing, exaggerating and proliferating character assassination. The Democrats simply need to wake up to the reality that this is how the game is played and start playing it.

Contrary to what some say, Kerry is an intelligent, accomplished man who served his country with courage (voluntarily) in the line of fire. None of which George W. can ever claim.

Yesterday's inauguration was pathetic. Texas women with big hair and Cheney spouting off about Bush's "historic" speech. Right. Bizzare. I'm guessing that roughly half of America feels like the country's been highjacked.

Should be a very interesting four years. Fasten your seatbelts.

The US Postal Service created a stamp with a picture of Senator Hillary Clinton (see below) to honor her achievements as the First Lady of our nation. In daily use it was shown that the stamp was not sticking to envelopes.

This enraged Senator Clinton, who demanded a full investigation. After a month of testing, a special presidential commission made the following findings: "The stamp was in perfect order. There was nothing wrong with the applied adhesive. People were spitting on the wrong side."

2008 ..... God, are we starting the next election already? Since Iowa was a "battle ground state" in the last election, you couldn't watch any TV, listen to the radio, or even read a newspaper without some kind of political ad!

In my opinion, the canidates from either party will be people not now consider front runners. The Democrat party will have to move more to the center from the extreme left that now controls the national Democrat party in order to have a chance to win. The Republican party will have to have as their canidate someone who is more of a centerists then our current president. I honestly believe that the vast majority of the people of this country are neither to the far left or the far right on the political spectrum. We are more of a centerists people.

It is going to be an interesting primary season in 2008. The nomination of both parties is wide open. Vice President Chaney has made it quite clear, and I believe him, that he is not interested in being the Republican Presidential canidate.

My hope is that the canidates from BOTH parties will be people who will put the interests and the needs of our country above their party .... people who will put the interests and needs of our country above their need to be re-elected .... people who will be honest with us about their principles rather then worrying about the "perfect 20 second sound bit" for the evening news.

I hope that the canidates from both major parties will be good and honest people. For just once in my life, I would like to be able to go into the voting booth and cast my vote FOR a canidate rather then AGAINST a canidate. Wouldn't that be fantastic! Hey, I can hope, can't I?

Just my thoughts on a cold and wintery day.

Donn

Well, let's see.... so far, "President Junior" has:
1) Lied about WMD, and got us into a quagmire war with over 1200 dead so far.
2) torpedoed the economy, taking us from budget surpluses to the deepest deficit spending in the history of the US.
3) Supported the decision that torture is "okay" in some situations.
4) Hacked away at civil rights, increasing surveilance on US citizens, and virtually reducing oversight to nil.
5) proposed an education bill which hasn't gotten any funding.
6) Gave all us folks who are poor and middle class a minor tax break, while allowing the rich to walk (The "No Billionare Left Behind" bill.)
7) Has taken steps to break down the wall between church and state.
8) Has defunded thousands of fire fighting programs, and rolled back the police to pre-Clinton levels.
9) Has cut the benefits for our troops, and forced a "back door draft" by keeping the troops we have in the service under duress.
10) Is currently putting together a new "task force" against "devient sexuality." (That's you reading this, BTW...)
11) When the tsunami hit, "Jr." offered humanitarian aid to the victims... to the tune of a whopping $15 million.
12) Since he actually won the election this time, he threw an innaugural party for himself... to the tune of $40 million.

All I can say is.... "Better dead than a Red(stater)"

I don't want to be a total jerk about this, but when was this a discussion about Bush? I was under the impression we were talking about candiates for 2008. That and Mr Bush's merits or lack of merits have been rather discussed to death.

mercnbeth: LOL!!!!! with the stamp joke- ha!

yes... tis is about 2008- not about W

bipolar: you need to re-check you facts- for one: you can not be lying if you believe what you are saying to be correct... as opposed to: "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" that my friend is just an example of lying- not to start talking about the economy, which is growing right now-...but hey...I come here to keep it light- yes I could google my way to infinity and beyond, but no...not right now-

I would also like for you to give me proof about # 10 (please, no moveon.orgs or undergroundcrap.coms) because I can tell you right now I'm the most beautiful woman in GA or the universe but can I prove it (I mean...I'm hot...but not THAT hot! lol!!!)

about # 11: are you saying that's too much or too little? 'cause I never know with you guys...damn if you do, damn if you don't...That's what the government gave at the beginning, what about what all private citizens have contributed??? that doesn't count? or is it only money when it comes from the gvt.? I prefer to see private citizens donating and not the government putting a gun to our heads and saying: DONATE...which is what happens with taxes... and all the US haters around the world have to say about that is that we "knew in advance" and didn't tell them kind of crap...

I agree with subrob: that woman is not a good person- (and that marrige is not such, but htat's another story)
