This might not be the best place to put this, but oh well...

You've just had a really bad day. Everything that went wrong did. You're so stressed out that your jaw hurts from clenching it too much. Everyone around you seems to be some how against you, annoying you, or agrivating you...

So, how do you unwind?

Me? A nice hot bath. Although alot of times I wish I had a body bag to go at.

I go to sleep. I realize some people might consider this to be dysfunctional, but I don't care. It works for me. Not much can get to you when you are unconscious....so, if you can do it, take a nap?

Usually, I'm very even-tempered, calm, collected that it doesn't become an issue.

A place I used to work voted me 'Most likely to go postal'.  I think it was because I never really said a whole lot, it was always difficult to tell what I was about.  That sort of thing.

I don't work there anymore.  Nor did I leave witnesses.

I go to the gym for an hour or more and work out my fustrations.  Once I could barely walk down the stairs back to the change room but I felt great.  well a lil sore the next day but I always kind of like that feeling no matter how it was achieved hehe.[:D]

But I was emotionally cleansed and physically i was full of energy and happy. After I got my breath back that is *S*

I try to start my day over when I get home from work. Sometimes just changing where my point of view focuses is enough to give me great stress relief. I've also found volunteering helps me take my mind off my own demise and helps me remember how blessed I am.

Gym, sauna, hot tub, smoothies, cool bed, masturbation and sex.

Or, if a bottom, to have that stress worked out of you in the form of a (consensual) beating.

I'd just throw myself on my bed and cry.

My Master hung a kick-boxing bag from my bedroom ceiling.....so I get to kick and punch like a tantrum-consumed toddler, with as much elegance as one, too. I have been known to spit at it, also....Yes, disgusting.

Yeah, I have to agree with LA here... Orgasms do help heh. Well, for me anything physical works well. I'm not one to loose my temper easily or break down easily... But it happens to all of us. And if I wear myself out physically it usualy puts my mind at ease.

I draw with crayon a picture of the frustration tape it to the wall.  Get several damp tissues and throw them at the picture saying whatever needs to be said.   Gets the words out and the physical energy out at the same time.

It depends on how stressed I am.  Sometimes exercise works.  Sometimes sex works.  Sometimes I just need to be cuddled while I talk out what's bothering me.

I focus on stuff that is bigger than the problem at hand. Spend quiet time out in the woods or hanging out with the animals, mucking out the horse barn is great therapy especially in the winter.

 OR, I just stay pissy for awhile, stomp around glaring at, and scaring everyone that gets in my path. After getting enough fearful looks I start smiling again!

Just thought of something else. I have a VERY vivid imagination so this works amazingly well.
