I wouldn't worry about the piercing, they seem to be used to it, its much more common now. I went for spinal xrays a few weeks ago and she asked if i had any piercings and gestured from her navel down, I just went back behind the curtain and took out my VHP.

I used to work for a gynecologist.....trust me when I say that they have seen far more unusual things than genital piercings. If you come in nice and clean they probably wouldn't care if you had a working set of Christmas lights installed. They also don't really care if you are shaved or unshaven. I have a clit piercing and the only thing my gynecologist has ever asked me is if I noticed if it made any difference sexually.

I always tell the doctors up front if they ask. Then again I guess the huge blush, and sly grin after they ask kinda gives it away. They have a confidentialty agreement... Besides that, there's not much doctors haven't heard.

My mom used to be a nurse, she'd always come home with very interesting stories heh.
