I have an audition on Friday for a gig. I am nervous and really need this. I have not done any singing since I moved to SC. Please keep me in your thoughts :)

Status: offline 		Life is busy, I start school in 4 days, I'm working out 6 days a week, my unmentionable is now in Kindergarten and riding the bus.  I do get to read the boards about everyday but I don't usually have time to post.
 
 
edited to add: cow tipping is a myth...trust me, I was born and raised in Wisconsin.

Awww, I am going to hi-jack my own thread <s> I am glad that you continue to read the forums, we havent talked in ages, I hardly ever turn my yahoo messenger on, so I guess if I turned it on more, I would "see" you more. My sister just moved back to N'ville and I hope to go and visit her soon, if I do, I will let you know. I would love to have lunch or dinner with you and yours :)

Status: offline 		Good luck, Mistress. I know how you might feel. I just auditioned Tuesday might for my local Symphony chorus. We have a to re-audition every year, and it's nerve-racking. I should find out by Friday if I made it or not. Good luck to you!

Thank you. I have been to many of these, so the fear is not of doing badly, the fear, it seems, is always there, until the song starts, mic in hand, then I am just as calm and stage ready as I could be. I am like many singers, the mic gives me courage and allows me to turn on my "stage personality" :)

Nooo It won't be Labor Day weekend. I may get this gig and I may be working. It will most likely be during the week, I know you have to work, but not into the night I hope <s>
