Knives!

Doncha luv ‘em?  First time I experienced them was after a good, heated flogging followed by wax painted on my torso with a very soft, round brush.  It was heaven; especially when he then used a cold knife to ‘peel’ the wax skin from my body.  It felt like I was being filleted!

I’ve used them on others…similarly as above, but also just dragging the points (I have a matched pair), down a boys body…stopping here and there, circling around here, dragging there; ending between his spread buttocks, oh so very close to his anus.  LOL   Why, I think he winked at me, the cheeky thing!

Another time I straddled the boy’s hips and made pretty designs on the front of his body.  He only bled a tiny little bit.  We were close…I licked the blood off his hipbone.  Heh, heh, heh…

Yeah, I like knives.  Let's talk now about positive experiences with knife-play.  Cutting or no...we should all understand this does not 'have' to include bloodletting.

I'm a vampire. I have a thing for blood. I haven't had a cutting myself, but I have done them. It's powerful for me...and the way he looked afterward...whew. It still hits me even when I look at the pics.

I have been on the bottom of some knife play. My Top was teasing me about cutting my nipples off, trying to get me to fear it, which he was mildly sucessful turning it into a mindfuck. He also drew the knife all the way down my body and pressed the blunt end against my clit (didn't know it was the blunt end at first). I left with a nice mark on my neck from it, but alas it faded so quickly. For some reason I am drawn to the idea of slitting the throat and this played around with that idea without cutting deep enough to do any damage.

I have used knives to cut wax off my slave's body and a friend of mine's body. A dull harmless thing. I drug the point and blade across my slave's body as well, but the poor girl was so terrified. It was very fun to see her like that, even though I explained to my boys Chris and Ed and her previously that said knife was harmless, demonstrating its lack of cutting abilities on my own palm. It is interesting though to play with someone who can suspend disbelief long enough to think they are really going to get hurt, and then compare it to my play, where for the most part, I knew I was in no danger. Two completely different feelings.

I so want to do a cutting. I'm so very tempted, but I don't have the right sterilization equipment yet, nor the money to purchase it. The blades, they call to me, and I can't yet answer that call :P

Liljoy, probably because we are all seemingly interested in the same aspects of play. I realized about a month ago, I am hopelessly masochistic. :P

Fire, the funny thing is, I have a vampire fetish and an intense blood fetish. My slave keeps trying to get me to admit I am a vampire. lol.

My knives are some of my favorite and most treasured "toys" but I don't use them to break the skin or draw blood because of my opinion that I am not qualified nor interested in becoming qualified in dealing with potential health issues.

Just the sensations, the white/red lines, and the possible fear/trust is enough for me. And I love making my bottom guess what words I'm writing on them -- get too good, I switch to Greek.

LOL  ...we must have similar interests, joy!

Ya know, that's an interesting comment, Slipstreme: "It is interesting though to play with someone who can suspend disbelief "  I think I do that.  It makes for some very scary times though...and sometimes a LOT of sobbing!  I get drenched in sweat...though I'm quite sure (really) my Top is both trustworthy and experienced enough not to actually hurt me!

My experience with knives in the hand of my Master has been incredibly intense.  He will mark me, threaten me, and torment me.  It is deeply personal and very erotic.  He never fails to take my breath away.

TammyJo, I think it’s great you brought up the point (heh heh heh) that knife play doesn’t have to include bloodsports.  People, especially new people, often forget everything is relative!

I have played with a friend who is quite good with a single-tail and never come away with marks from his whip.  I have another friend who about shreds my back; and I don’t consider either the better whipthrower.

Same thing with floggers and canes; marks they might get are solely dependent on how hard the toy is used, what it is made from, and how it is made.  I have a huge, heavy flogger that, even if I swing it full out…it will not do anything but redden a back.  I have another that, if I’m not careful…I’ll have a body all cut up before we’re ready to quit!

Even humiliation is relative.  There is the degradation kind…which many enjoy; and there is the teasing/embarrassing kind, which is easier to handle, that others enjoy.  It seems sad to say ALL humiliation is no fun…if ya don’t understand it’s all relative!

So again, thank you…more than anything, I wish people would remember this.

Thank heavens I didn't read this earlier. Good grief you're torturing me!

Seriously, I have a real fixation with blades and eagerly await the opportunity to have my curiosity satisfied. Do you find that bloodletting seems to take precedence over the other activities you can have with knives?

LOL... sorry 'bout that, porcelaine! Drooling a bit, are ya?

Well, for me the bloodletting doesn't 'take precedence' over other activities...it's just different; deeper if you will (sorry).

I suspect you can't always be cutting, so...for me...when it happens it is with a special person, on a somewhat special occasion; perhaps more spiritual in nature.  It feels very pegan to me; ritualistic and ...natural, if that makes sense?!

Knives scare the holy shi_ out of me. They are a soft limit for me. But, maybe some day...some people do make them sound appealing.

I'm afraid that knife play, too, does little for me.  It's nice for a few minutes of sensation and sensitization, but generally, I get bored.  As a fear junkie, I get off on fear, and playing with most knife players, you KNOW they aren't going to do anything, you KNOW they are careful...and frankly whispering into my ear one more time "Don't more or you'll be missing a nipple" really doesn't do it for me.

Now, spice up some knife play with a TENS or violet wand, or get a good mind fuck going simultaneously, now you're talking.  But knives on their own don't do much but look pretty to me.

Yes it does. For me, the act of sharing blood with anyone is a deeply spiritual act. It is my blood, and knives are one of the easiest ways to get it. It is like letting your life source run from you, exposing yourself fully. For some reason I almost see it as forging a deeper connection with myself and the ones around me. It reminds me I am human. And each time there is the possibility it will leave a mark, a lasting one.

I know in the impact play that I have done that have left lasting marks on my back, I feel forever entwined to the people who did them, even though those scenes were casual scenes done with friends. That is why when they did leave lasting marks I felt guilt, because my blood was shed, and my family was too far away to share in the experience.

I have not done any cuttings, but I know it is probably something I could not do until my slave moves in with me, so I have someone to share the spiritual aspect of the journey with.

Just out of curiosity, I was browsing one of the threads LA posted, and it mentioned purell hand sanitizer. Just how good is it at sanitizing?

good point. i don't think there is anything that we do that i wasn't once afraid of.. i'm such a scaredy cat lol. Some i've been able to face and love like needles. Some i've faced and they still scare me like single tails. Others i've not faced but now i am starting to understand that in the right hands they can be less sacrey.
Now i have things to do so would you please stop luring me over to my computor? lol
