Warning this thread is about age play, adult babies, and diaper lovers.... Why did I put a warning in? Because, I am so sick of hearing "That's so taboo," or "....Ick." I don't enjoy scat play, but instead of saying the first thing that comes to my head, I stop and say. "Not something that I enjoy, but if you do all the more power to yeah." I'm not ranting here... I just want to explain something. Perhaps I can clear things up a bit for some... ABDL (Adult babies and or diaper lovers) is an off shoot of BDSM. Just like pony play, or wax play can be. Example... Submissive has been told to have dinner on the table by nine. For some reason or another she/he doesn't. Her/His Dominant decides she/he will be punished... Adult baby was told to not to throw toys, for some reason or another she/he throws toys. Her/His Dominant decides she/he will be punished... Same concept... This is the simplest example I could come up with. Anytime some one says "...Ick." Or "That's just taboo." Even though it's normally online it still feels like some one punched me in the chest. Comments, questions, bullets to dodge?

I don't remember the last time someone publicly stated that it was gross or wrong to engage in any of those activities. We've had plenty of people say they don't get it, or couldn't do it, but they all respect the kink for what it is and let people enjoy what they want. Not many people do AB here, so those threads rarely get much attention, but they certainly aren't put down. On CM at least, it's very unfashionable to speak out against age play- we've got too many who enjoy it :)

Ya know, when folks say "ick" or "YUCKY" or whatever, they are just being real, and expressing how they feel in that instant as the thought hits them, or, punches THEM in the chest...and perhaps that is how they want their thoughts to be expressed. In the context of polite respect and manners i see your point, but ya know, not everyone has those same thoughts on what manners are either! *smile Everything is subjective and debatable, take nothing personal...and everything with a grain of salt...or , if preferrable, a nice vodka and cranberry ? LOL!

If I'm an arse-pain I occasionally have to sleep with a nappy on. Age-play has bugger -all to do with it....it's a gesture. It's humiliating and pretty effective inside my relationship. I don't love nappies and mostly forget that it's a tool that he'll pull out now and then. Maybe I'm weird but I don't find much icky or taboo......not in terms of myself, anyhow. agirl

riven, Good for you! But why worry about an "ICK" factor? Are you seeking validation? Coming to CM or any on-line source for validation isn't a worthwhile cause. Remember, a very large majority of the people who read and post only have experience in reading and posting. Would acceptance from them make a difference? If anything "ICK!" can be considered validation. There is a long list of "ICK" generating activities that we participate in fairly regularly, yours among them. Consider that being "punched in the chest" makes you stronger in the long run.

lol..........my Master doesn't post here, but he reads the forums.... He'd have no problem admitting to putting a nappy on me. I'm actually thankful that I've only ever been kept in one long enough that I only peed in it.......though by then I'd held on SO long that it ran out of the nappy and I was stood in a puddle. People who have never tried such things, simply do not get how much acceptance as involved in allowing one adult to do such things to another. Most abs and slave sorts I have known that enjoyed this sort of thing felt it as a comfort. The fact that they could do something that taboo and unnacepted by society at large, creates a seperate universe for a little while. And I almost fell over laughing, the first girl asked me if a two inch thick diaper made her ass look big. It's very freeing to be able for once to say "Of course it does,what did you expect?"[:D]

I agree...though it's curious that flogging, caning, cutting, poking sharp things through private parts, biting, dripping hot wax onto, setting fire to, caging, binding, cropping and lashing with a bull whip etc. are kind of ........ok.....in a weird sort of way....LOL It's a dichotomy for me because although I hate it and it makes makes me as mad as hell......when the fight is over, it's accomplished and on my bum, I just deflate in a rather nice way........he won and I'm bloody glad he did.
