I know you were looking for the hetero perspective here, but I just can't resist chiming in! First, I'd like to give a big bravo to all the straight dominant men who owned up to their enjoyment of anal stimulation. I don't think it means one has latent homosexual or bisexual tendencies; you'd only have that if you started fantasizing about a big strong man attached to the phallus or finger or whatever object you're using for penetration.
To those who don't enjoy it, I think you're missing out, either because of context or a few bad experiences. The right lube and the right object go a long way. My partner, for instance, can't stand fingers, and I can't stand his if he hasn't cut his fingernails recently. Petroleum jelly ruins it for me. My enjoyment also depends a great deal on mood and the state of my GI tract.
