Still working on this one, i was a single mom for a very short time, my old man of 18 years became a wonderful dad to both the kids i had and the one we had together. So i do not know that i can attribute my defense mechanisms to that but oh boy did i and still sometimes do have them.
Lucking for me my pair is patient with this one, they do love me, of this i am totally positive. This is a really hard one to let go of. I wonder how many others face the same issues.
