I think it was probably difficult to attempt to make this film, because almost any way you'd tell it you'd offend someone, probably - so many peoeple died - and it has only been five years since 9/11. I think you are probably right, it was probably very difficult to make. I haven't decided if I will go see it or not (I moved to NYC ten days before the planes hit... WELCOME to New York!) and probably won't see it in the theater, unless we decide to go when it hits the dollar theater. I don't think it will trigger anything, or something like that, I just don't want to spend my hard-earned money on this, when I can be entertained by something funny instead. But, on the other hand, it might be good to see the happy surviving story as well. Yeah, I'm not exactly decisive right now. I only lost one person that I knew very well because of the trade center, and it was because she killed herself last summer, in part because of PTSD from that day. She was missing for two days after it happened until she was found in a hospital with a head injury. She hadn't listened when the guards told her to stay inside (and that's what saved her) and was hit with falling debris. The Mate, however, lost a couple of dozen folks he knew well and worked with; and was mere blocks away from it (watched the towers come down in person) when it happened. Anyhow, coming from my POV, I don't think it's too soon. There have already been many specials on it, on several different channels. Those who don't want to see or hear about it can ignore the movie and not attend. Sometimes the way to deal with things is to bury it, and sometimes it isn't, I suppose it just depends on the person.
