I find that the dynamic of serving my White Master is such a heady experience. I'm drawn, by nature to white doms and Masters. Though some Doms tend to be drawn to that "old south" dynamic, that really isn't my draw. I'm curious as to how many white Doms enjoy having a black submissive. My experience is that we are rare -- that there are plenty of submissive white men who enjoy serving a black female dominant, but that isn't me.

I find many different races attractive. But attitude is the defining factor.

My submissive of almost two years is black, and he's wonderful and adorable. [:)] But his being African-American was happenstance. I didn't go looking for that characteristic.

Though honestly, now, because of him, I've got to say I automatically smile when black submissives contact me, even though I'm currently not looking. lol

I believe you will find interest on both sides of the coin. Though the topic is rarely discussed aloud. If you don't mind sharing your experiences, I'd be curious to learn why you prefer one over the other. Of course I realize these are personal decisions. But I find the topic interesting nonetheless.

As a matter of fact, black submissives are indeed my choice and preference for a myriad of reasons, and have been for most of my adult life. Also, I have to admit that I have recieved some flack over that very choice and preference from folks right here on this site. Guess we all here aren't quite as receptive as most would tend to think regarding choices and personal preferences of others within this lifestyle.

Most of the negative comments I have recieved are actually from white females. But I firmly believe this is due to the fact that most men don't have 'male dominants' as a target audience when initiating a search through profiles. I can also attest to the fact that I get some stange comments and equally strange looks from some of the 'good ole boys' whenever I accompanied my previous partners out in public. Pretty sad commentary sometimes, but as I see it, it's all on them simply due to the stupidity level. The only thing that I will not tolerate whatsoever is someone showing disrespect towards my lady. I dispise confrontation but have to draw the line right there.

It has to be frustrating.  I don't get people who have this rigid attitude that "you should be with your own kind"..How boring and staid. The choices we make should be just that, our choices. And no matter who I am with, it has a lot more to do with what I see within, than is on the surface.

And if someone dares to diss the person I hold dear,they better watch out. I'll tear them a new asshole, to go right along with the one between thier ears.[:@]

Well, all I can say is that I love chocolate ice cream just as much as I love vanilla.  Which one I have at any given time is based on my mood and desire for that taste at that time.  However, when it comes to people I look at who they are and what they can bring to my life and/or the party as I like to say.  I don't knock anyone for their choices.  I think we're all supposed to mix and blend into one race sooner or later anyway, no?  Just my thoughts.

I'm white. I have enjoyed the two black submissives I have had. It might be an interesting question whether I enjoyed their respective "blackness" in ways different than I enjoyed someone else's paleness--obviously I'm not describing something symmetrical but where do the asymmetries lie, exactly? I can't say but I find the question interesting.

As it happened they were both more or less Canadian. A question could be asked about doms enjoying having Canadian submissives. Once again, though, the comparison to the question you have posed is somehow inapt. And yet just how it is inapt is hard to pin down.

The things you might expect me to say do apply. I was attracted to them each as extrordinary, wonderful, gorgeous human beings. Furthermore each offered a submission (this is an aesthetic comment, now) which I could deeply appreciate.

Yes, the physical differences had certain results and I guess I liked them. But then this sort of thing could be true if it was said of differences in height or weight, too. And I'm confident you aren't asking that kind of question.

As for cultural differences, well in each case their acculturation had a lot in common with mine but also important differences. This of course is a well known recipe for compatibility,acknowledging the fascination of "difference" even though it may come at the cost of a limit to the depth of empathy.

For me there was none of that "old south" business nor as I understand it did that play in for either of them.

As for the "how many" question, well statistical matters don't usually interest me too much.

The answer may be unspeakable, Noirsub, but I would like to ask you what do you suppose it is that describes the particular appeal of this particular dynamic for you?

I'm guessing that your attempt to answer may get at some of the very asymmetries referred to above and maybe shed new light on them for me. In any case I'd like to hear what you may have to say.

I have never had a black submissive though I was involved with a brown submissive for awhile who is still a good friend.  Speaking strictly from the visual aspect, there was something infinitely enticing about the contrast of her darker skin against my own, paler skin tone.  Culturally, there is a contrast between many women of Mexican descent and Caucasian women.  While these factors certainly came into play, in the long run it was the same as with any other person I have been involved with...the sharing of interests, whether they were in common or different and the meshing of minds and hearts in a way that was pleasurable rather than a difficult task that were responsible for an experience that I wouldn't trade.

I've been thinking about a post like this for awhile.  It' good to see it opened up.

Being raised in the 60's... I had the black movement and history beat into my skull. 
(You guys did you job TOO well!-- I GOT it- to a paralyzing degree :/ )

I freeze at the thought of dominating a black person or even at the thought of calling them "slave"

I stick with dominating my own race because.. dammit.. they NEED it! (the arrogant sob's :) 

I'd enjoy tandem Domming with a Black Domme..  but I could not take a black slave because of my inner stigma about it.  I also could not dominate an Afghan woman with the Taliban experience.  I mean... what a joke we would be.  THEY LIVED IT!

Firstly, I gave that impression specifically because I desired to show the contrast. Secondly, it's not up to you to tell me how to express myself. I will own whatever consequences my form of expression brings to me. Be they good or bad, it is not up for you to decide.

apparently you don't realize how POWERFUL words are.  People judge you based upon what comes out of your mouth or in this case the tips of your fingers.

Lessee.... over the course of my life I have had emotionally and physically intimate relationships with white women, black women, Hispanic women, and Native American women.  In the BDSM world, I have not yet had the pleasure or experience of a relationship with a black woman.  Nor have I had any relationship (beyond being friendly acquaintences) with any women of Asian descent.

I don't think it's a matter of racial preference in my case, so much.  I think it's more of a case of "she was in the right place at the right time for a relationship to happen."  *shrugs*

I just know "I likes a woman wif a big butt!  Sumpin' what I can hol' on to, an' beat wif a car antenna!"

Well I for one VERY much enjoy playing with my black sub girl (she's got GREAT gams and can take a spanking well).  As a yankee, I'm not really drawn to "old south" scenes or play.  For me, it has to do with dating patterns that began long before I started exploring BDSM.

Before I accepted my BDSM desires I dated outside my race almost exclusively.  It appealed to my intellectual side to socialize with and date women of different ethnicities.  Now that I am in the lifestyle I simply tend to seek out non-white submissive and slave girls as a continuation of that preference.

My current girl is African-American (or Black, whichever you prefer).  I played with four Black sub females before her, over the years.  Each had their own desires and interests and it's *wonderful* to be able to juxtapose both my interest in tying a woman up (and dripping wax on her and spanking her, etc.) with my interest in interracial relationships.

I've been accused by some false freinds in the lifestyle of being racist because of my desire to dominate and inflict pain on Black and/or Asian women.  Most seem content to not judge me on my desires.  As my current girl can testify, my desire for a Black or Asian slave has nothing to do with racism.  I can't do "plantation" scenes with her for instance.  Taking on the role of a racist would rub me the wrong way. 

The fact that Black/Asian slaves/subs are rarer than Dominant ones is one of my personal laments.  However, since the world will not change for me, I simply try to enjoy the ones that do exist.
