MstrssScarlet -> RE: pro dommes on here (9/6/2006 8:43:33 PM)

Guess what naughtynick!  I became a pro domme INSTEAD of taking a government handout.  I have some health conditions that do not allow me to hold a regular 9 to 5 job.  I happen to enjoy my work as a pro domme and at age 49 I know of other pros even older than me who are still successful!  That's because the people coming to us are not just looking for beauty, which will indeed fade with time.  They are looking for an EXPERIENCE - something I'm guessing you don't understand yet.  Perhaps you're bitter because a pro domme somewhere turned you down when she discovered all you wanted was some help getting off?

As to the fine ladies who have stood up for the pro dommes in here...I thank you.  I know that not everyone approves of what I do, but I really do feel like I help people who want to be part of the lifestyle but I'm their only outlet.  I do not perform any sexual activities with my clients and there are many closet subs/slaves out there who just can't get what they need at home.  There are also many people new to the lifestyle who just need an idea of where to start.  More than once I have invited clients of mine to munches, sloshes, or other events to help them find a LTR.  Where's the profit in that???  Hmmmm?

I've come to the conclusion that probably 80% of straight women that profess to be Dommes here, are pros, is it my imagination, or is there some other reasons Ma'ams, Ladies, Mistresses

Is this the same fellow that, last week, was claiming that 80% of us were actually men?  LOL

maybe he thinks that the 80% of Dommes are actualy stock brokers or televangalists seeking money...LOL

openmindedslave -> RE: pro dommes on here (9/6/2006 9:21:58 PM)

I think his stastical  numbers are to  get some attention. Are there alot of professionals on here ..Sure.And if they found that people were not  interested in their talents , they would leave for lack of business.

I am bitter because a Pro Domme turned me down? lol I have never seen a Pro Domme. Well I have paid for a Domme before but she was not pro. It was just some cheap asian joint when I was only 20. I havent seen one since and never will again. Its a waste of money.

I have no respect for anyone who expects me to pay them for sex or anything sexual related as for BDSM. This should be for free. I think they are sluts, whores, or what ever. Those words only apply to me when a person expects money for sexual pleasures. I dont believe in using the words slut, whore on a woman who sleeps with lots of men for free. I see nothing wrong with that.

I think being a prostitute is lower than being unemployed. If someone asked you what do you do for a living, what would sound best? I am a prostitute or I am unemployed? I think I would be more interested in the unemployed woman.

As for what you said about people visit Pro Dommes for experience and not looks. That is garbage to some extent. Yes, people do go for experience but being a Pro Domme, you have no choice of which clients you participate with. If I was looking for Pro Dommes, I would choose the most attractive one because in real life as for dating or relationships, I wouldnt have a chance with the really good looking ones. When you are paying her as a Pro Domme she has no choice but to accept you. I think most men would go for the more pretty looking women because them women have no choice unless you are the type of Pro Domme who actually chooses which men to play with.

BlueVelvet -> RE: pro dommes on here (9/7/2006 12:49:49 AM)

Oh naughtynick, so much to learn!

To think that a  pro domme has no choice over who s/he sees is quite frankly silly!  (you forget that there are professional Masters out there as well as Mistresses?).  Of course they have a choice, and I know many who choose thier clients very carefully indeed!

From your posting, it is quite obvious that you strongly link BDSM to sex, well that's ok, it works for you, but please do not think that everyone else works under your rules!  For many, many people, both Mistress, Masters and subs, this is a spirtual journey, a lifestyle, and yes it's about their sexuality, but not about sex per se.

Many people use the title 'pro dom/me' (or other derivatives) when in fact they are not.  A professional Dominant is simply that, someone who does what  they love for a living.  A professional Dominant is not someone who does it merely as a day job, nor are they someone who offers sex for money.  A professional dominant is NOT a hooker with a whip (which it seems that you may have seen?).

Why can't you live and let live?  So you would not see another professional dominant, that's your choice, well done!  And if your circumstances change, I hope that you would still feel the same way!  And just as an aside, what's the difference between someone who does what they love for a living (and you call them pro dommes) and someone who makes kinky toys for a living?  Both gain their income from within the BDSM community?  Both do what they love?

Oh and naughtynick, your profile states"Age and weight is not really important but definitely someone over 18. I am not a judgmental person. As long as you are easy to get along with and you know how to have fun."  Is this a profile rewrite I see comming up? [;)]

You are not getting my point. If I was paying for someone to Domme me I would make sure I would get someone good looking. I am NOT looking to pay anyone for my BDSM interest. So that means looks and weight is not an issue to me. If I was paying for BDSM I would make sure I would get my moneys worth. Its all about getting the best buy when it comes to money. But when its not involved with money, it doesnt matter because I am not giving away money to do so. I am not loosing anything.

He's not picky....so long as you'll do what he wants, and he doesn't go to jail for getting his kinks fulfilled by 'some chick over 18' that he objectifies, it's ok, right?

To the oh-so-naieve nick, this ain't Burger Kink and you can't always "have it your way."  You have quite a bit of learning and growing up to do there love.  I pity the people on your path that you're going to leech through with your objectification....

arrrr no. I believe in give and take. If the woman gives to me, I will give to her. If she can pleasure me but I cant pleasure her, whats the point? No, this is not Burger Kink but I dont see anything wrong with looking for a woman with the same interest. If I can satisfy her and she can satisfy me, whats the problem? I dont expect a woman to satisfy me if I cant satisfy her in return. She has to like what she is doing if she wants to participate with me in the first place. I am sorry your brain is too small to comprehend that.

BlueVelvet -> RE: pro dommes on here (9/7/2006 2:01:17 AM)

Actually nick, it was the non judgemental part that I was mainly concerned with, though I kept the quote intact because it did seem fitting.

So, the age old debate reigns, pro dom/mes good or bad?  Each to their own, and thank you for sharing your point of view  so eloquently.  I'm sure we all have a much better insight into what makes you tick now!

Fortunately, we don't need to resort to namecalling on this side of the table.  Your statements show you for who you are.  Remember that little feature that we women have the ability to use.....you know that one that looks up a gentleman's posts here on the forums.  Any woman takes a look at your attitude and general disrespect of complete strangers and she'll know what your agenda is.  Best of luck with that, nick.

I guess it will, women get too angry when the truth is told about them :-)

MisPandora -> RE: pro dommes on here (9/7/2006 2:29:40 AM)

Anger?  LOL  The only effort wasted is the energy laughing or shaking my head at your lack of insight, and worse, your hurling insults and calling people stupid/small brained.  That was uncalled for and you know it.

I get such a kick out of males who bitch about ProDommes. I bet they would be offended if I bitched about them calling themselves Professional Plummers, or Golfers, or whatever they are that they charge a fee for a service that is in demand by people. Why are males so threatened by Women who deserve to be paid for a great service seemingly (my opinion, only) because there isn't sex involved in the exchange? I do have many males who are glad there is no sex involved because they feel bad enough that they cannot share BDSM with their partner, wife, girlfriend or otherwise. Get over it!

How about getting a real job, you might get respect from people than. You cant be a Pro Domme forever. Once you get all wrinkled and old, how will you be earning money? Oh let me guess the government will be paying you? Too bad you have no proper work experience to keep going. You are pretty much well doomed once your looks go from age.

You are kidding here right? I'm really hoping that you're not that ignorant.
There is a fetish out there for almost everything. There are men out there who lust for older women, wrinkles and all. Trust me on this one.
Though I'm not, ever have been, will be, or have been with a pro, I think they provide a valuable service. You do not have to agree. What you find beautiful is not what the rest of the planet is searching for and to think so is just immature, no matter how old you are. If you think that all pro dommes provide sex, again, you are showing your lack of knowledge. Not all prostitues are crack whores on the streets. There are those that are selective and will not provide services to just anyone with a few hundred bucks in their pockets either and they can do this even though they are not technically 'good looking'.
You don't like pros, state in your profile for them to please not contact you. For profiles you deem worthy of your even contacting them, *tsk* do make sure to ask if they are pro are not, then move on if you don't like their answer. So simple.

~Big

So you are allowed to say that I have learning and growing up to do in another post and I am not allowed to say your brain is small? Sorry no double standards just because you are a woman.

orfunboi -> RE: pro dommes on here (9/7/2006 3:42:30 AM)

i've come to the conclusion that 90% of the males who come on collarme, pissing and moaning about "pro" dommes, have spent way too much time online and not enough time in the real world meeting real people.

Seawolf3465 -> RE: pro dommes on here (9/7/2006 4:16:40 AM)

The boy sounds very angry on his profile!  I am not a Pro and I also have that posted on my profile here on this site.  I also have comments in my profile that I feel that Pros serve a great need in this lifestyle.  It is a personal choice to pay one or not to pay.  I play for the love of it however with that profile that he has I would hit the delete button since I FEEL that there is far too much anger in the profile.  Also I don't get my boys off, nor do I allow anyone to get me off.  I keep it simple in real time as well.  I have heard somewhere that there is some sort of a LIST on this site somewhere or something connected, I am wondering if you landed yourself on it.  Or is that just a myth, anyone?

makeaslave -> RE: pro dommes on here (9/7/2006 4:46:15 AM)

I should clarify what I stated, It seems that women that list themself as bi, tend to be ladies actually looking for a relationship or at least a play partner, where as women who are listed as straight tend to be pros, I was just wondering if there was a corolation.

PS: I'm not that guy listed in the one reply:)

God, HIGH FIVE to that comment.  Well put.....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I have myself another vanilla part time job, my Pro Domme is not my means of living.  I enjoy doing what I do in both areas and have taught alot and gained alot. Prostitution??  What the hell does that have to do with BDSM and Pro Domme?
I also make the choice on who I want to see.  OF COURSE!! I just don't let in anyone in my realm money or not.  naughtynick, you love the attention, c'mere, I'll teach ya. [sm=crop.gif]

mp072004 -> RE: pro dommes on here (9/7/2006 5:17:10 AM)

What happens, NaughtyNick asked, when a professional dominant gets old? Professional dominants and other sex workers can develop retirement accounts and savings, just like other freelancers or small businesspeople.

Looks are important, yes, though it seems they are less important with professional dominants than they are with escorts, and certainly less important than for strippers. A lot is riding on a stripper's ability to look pretty and move gracefully. A professional dominant's ability to look pretty and graceful isn't quite as important, because a professional dominant is special because of her skills--her ability to create a BDSM scene that makes her client happy, presumably. However, even though one could "lose one's looks" and remain an effective, successful professional dominant, getting above 40 isn't a death sentence to attractiveness. Diane Lane? Susan Sarandon? Meryl Streep? Madonna? Desperate Housewives is noted for demonstrating the sex appeal of over-40 women, and if Teri Hatcher and Marcia Cross were professional dominants, I doubt they would need to retire soon.
