More seriously, what is 'truly dominent'? and what does one get out of the process? If one enjoys the power trip for its own sake, then I suspect so. For me, I very much enjoy the melding of lust, desire, and control. I find sexualized tension different from normal tension. That may mean your answer is no, or it may be that I don't qualify under your definition of 'truly dominent'. Given I suspect I will never play or get involved with you, I don't really care if I do or don't fit that definition anyway, as long as I know what I want and enjoy and can communicate clearly with the people I want to share the experiance with. Orientations meshing is one precondition for my enjoyment, but it is by no means the only one.

Interesting analogy...drivers and cars...I have often described a submissive a vehicle of My pleasure...guess it just matters how many miles I get.. ;)

I believe in adapting what works for Myself...

I do enjoy reading other's perceptions as in doing so it may offer new perceptions of My own.

Welllll, I don't know about all the HE's but this SHE has yet to meet a male in r/t that I have a desire to play with because of their mindset. So far all I have met, have their penis directly connected in some form or other with their BDSM interests. That simply grosses me out. I do not exist to serve their desires. It would have to be a very special man that would interest me to go there.

Honestly, I would have no problem playing with a man if my boundaries were respected. I know I would be alot more sadistic with a man.

The reality is that I have a desire to have play as part of a relationship, at this point in my life, and a woman is what I want.

Being a naturally Dominant female I will Dominate male or female it makes no difference to me. But I am also bisexual so perhaps that has something to do with it. Then again I am a sadist too, so ass is an ass to me it needs to be spanked or whipped.

I think as individuals you will get several different answers. But for me no sexual persuasion doesn't make a difference I just like hurting people....in a fun way.

There is no should to the human heart.

If your dominant streak goes into overdrive only in sexual situations, and you are het then dominating someone of the same gender wouldn't cause you to rev up. (To continue the car analogy) On the flip side, there are women I've met who are very powerful and I wind up giving way frequently but I resent them for being impolite and rolling over other people. I've met men like that and have the same reaction, dislike and hostility. I don't submit to anyone who IMs me saying "I am dominate" (sic), I only submit to the one whose power I feel. And for me, I only feel this power and the wish to give my power over to a man because submission for me is sexually linked and I'm straight.
