A: The numbness began in the tips of my fingers - the little finger first, then spread gradually to the whole hand
Q-was the feeling heat, coolness, or nothing distinguishable?
A: More heat than coolness, but not really hot - just warm, and tingling and numb
Q-when you spoke, were you aware of speaking, or were these just expressed vocalizations (not conscious words)?
A: i was fully aware
Q: -'coming down' from this, how did you feel?
A: i felt a little dissappointed that Ma'am had stopped the session, and curious about where it would have led. Not afraid, and yet somewhat relieved at the same time, after all, it is something that i do not understand, adn so there is some trepidation involved as is with any new and uncharted territory.
Q: -with the most recent experience of this, did you begin with meditation or go to this at some time within the experience? Or did the feelings just begin on their own?
A: The feelings began on their own, for the most part, although, as the numbness began, i did think of the time when it happened before. That time, i had been breathing deeply, and had my eyes closed, i was visualising a bright background with dark points on it, and went toward one of those points and as i got closer and closer to it, i entered into and through, and was in a vast space that was all black, except pin points of light. It was as i imagine outerspace might be. At this stage, my hands were fully curled in and had moved from my sides to my chest, and i could no longer move them of my own free will although i am not certain that i was concious of this until later.. i wanted to go further into the "void", as it seemed to me, but i was afraid that if i went too far, i might not find my way back. It was at that point that i got scared, and sat up, opening my eyes, and the session stopped. i will say that neither of us really had a clue what we were doing, and we were by no means "grounded" - in fact at the time, i was in active addiction, and was high on coke and pot, and so was she.
i have been clean and sober and in recovery now, for two and a half years, so this time there were no drugs at all involved. Just me tied to a table on my back, blindfolded with my Mistress doing sensation play on/with me.
As i was blindfolded, there was a similarity there, with the eyes being closed. Also, my breathing pattern was similar, in that i was doing some deep breathing, to calm myself and my reactions to the sensations i was experiencing as Ma'am played with me. The more pleasurable the sensations, the more the tingling and numbness spread. When there was pain, it seemed to abate somewhat, but did not stop.
i am very interested in finding a guide/healer to further explore this, and will be putting it out there to the unverse, as well as actively seeking someone local who can assist me in my journey. Thanks again to all of You, and i am glad that my topic has attracted such interest and response!
