You can only invoke the 5th amendment against the state. . .not a private individual. . .so go ahead and spill it [;)]

I am invoking it against the state. The state I might find myself in if I was to answer the question [;)]

Actually, what appeals to me about him is that he seems very uninhibited and I'm sure he could teach *me* a few things that I probably have never even imagined. I absolutely adore a freaky deaky guy. I'm usually the freak in my relationships and the guys are like. . ."Whoa!" I just wish ONE TIME. . .a guy would turn *me* out.

OMG that would be a do not miss show Michael Jackson on the Dr. Phil show!! Dr. Phil with his don't hold back or take any crap style/ Maybe just maybe Dr. Phil could get poor Michael to start seeing how twisted he's become.

He also looked, and I hope acted healthier. Poor bastard needs Dr Phil to tell him "look you're rich, so nobody's going to tell you this, but you lost your mind some time back, and you need to be reprogrammed"

Yeah, a friends kid asked recently... "mom, what's a record look like?" tough to have to respond with "Like a cd, only the middle hole is smaller, it is made of black plastic and is the size of a plate"

Okay Dude! -DAMN!

Big CSN&Y fan - they identified that as their root band. And then there was....?

DaddyAngel -> RE: These time's they are a changin! (1/8/2005 2:56:59 PM)

Do you mean all of them? Or are you referring to The Byrds, The Hollies, Buffalo Springfield??

DaddyAngel -> RE: These time's they are a changin! (1/8/2005 3:01:10 PM)

They wer e heavily influenced by Bob Dylan and origianlly the group was called Ronnie Hawkins and the Hawks, Later Levon and the Hawks, then The Band.

mistoferin -> RE: These time's they are a changin! (1/8/2005 3:17:47 PM)

My son came to me to let me hear a new song that he thought I would enjoy....."Whiskey in the Jar" by Metallica. I told him i thought it was really good but that it was not a new song. He said "Oh I know, it's a remake of an old Thin Lizzy tune. I laughed and said he was going to have to go back alot farther than Thin Lizzy since it was an old Irish Drinking song. He is always amazed when I know the lyrics to his latest "new" songs.

....referring to The Byrds

A reunion concert of the surviving members of The Byrds and other artists was called off as McGuinn will not play with Crosby. The concert was set down for January 12 and would have also included Andrew Gold's group Byrds of a Feather as Gold does a very good 12 string and vocals.

NOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooo. Tell me the kid was VERY YOUNG. That will ease me (but maybe that isn't your intent).

Lets not even get off on a 'remember 8 tracks' and 'remember reel to reels' tangent.

Hell, I remember my dad's 78 collection. When I was 4 my favorite song was "how much is that doggy in the window" and it was on a 78 (I remember because I accidentally broke it and was heartsick - so the memory stayed with me).

Ok...this thread may depress me if i'm not careful.

heheh. Then you gotta ask -which- version of Whiskey in the Jar. :) I know three, I think. :)
