Madame, M.Jules, and midear Stef-

Sadly, on the advice of my Medicos, I must decline. My primary health care provider felt it was even odds as to wether my heart, my head or genitalia would expolde first under the stimulus. I sought a second opinion- he opined that I would first break my neck trying to look you all in the eye simultanously.

Stay warm,
Lawrence

Tsk Tsk Tsk. Lawrence, my wonderfully brave friend,

You KNOW I know CPR and have a plethora of clamps, sutures, sterile gloves, caths - I even have the exam table with stirrups should the latter occur. You're in good hands, sweets.

Really now, what's a testicle between friends?

<insert Suz-cackle here>

Dear Lawrence, are you playing hard to get, because it drives the women crazy? I was going to volunteer and make it a real interesting Oreo cookie thing.

Oh be still my heart! This just keeps getting better all the time!

I'm an EMT so we should have all the medical bases covered. I can even bring along an AED for good measure (no Jules, you*can't* play with the defibrillator!)

I appreciate that! I'm sure Stef appreciates that too! And when I travel (air) I generally mail my things to the destination ahead of time. . .then mail it back. It isn't as much trouble as I thought it would be because most hotels are glad (or they give that appearance) to do it for you.

**ALSO** a good inconspicuous way to travel with your toys (ground) is to buy one of those bat bags (the ones you put baseball bats in.) They are long enough to carry most toys. . .and then some.

**looks forward to being part of the sandwich and thinking of ways to trick Lawrence to participate*

How about Suz and I in the bedroom nekkie already. . .then screaming "OH MY GOD!!! MY NIPPLE IS BLEEDING!!!!" I'm sure Lawrence will come running in to see what is going on because he is such a gentleman. [:D]

An AED?!? Hey, I'm certified to use that too! (and I covet it for my dungeon...not only as a safety device, but for mindfuck!)

Why not play with the AED??? It won't turn on if there's a regular heartbeat. HAHAHAHA

HA! He only last night discovered that you can read a forum in threaded mode. He's so new to the format of a message board that most of the time he's just lost.

Give him time, then he'll REALLY piss you off! hahahahaha And be oblivious to his offense.

Mark my words. hahahahahaha

Actually, a friend of mine came up with a way around that little problem. She has a walking stick made from bamboo, inside of which she stores her favorite rattan items for convenient access while on the go. The unique sound it makes when shaken has been known to rattle more than one bottom...

I've got a tube for traveling as well. They are convenient, but still odd sized and usually don't fit into a carry on. It's yet another strap to throw over your shoulder.

I suppose a walking stick could have it's advantages, though.

Being the privacy fetishist I am, I wonder........ Is there information somewhere on how to donate via mail? Thanks in advance.

I'm afraid I can't answer that question directly and would direct you to send an email to [email protected] to ask. I can tell you, however, that my donation appeared on my bank statement (I used my Visa Debit Card to donate) as "Amazon.com *donation"

I don't know if you are more interested in keeping your information from CM, or Amazon, or whether you just don't want CM to appear on your statements, but if it's the latter then you don't need to worry about that.

Hope this helped.

HAHAHAHA I'll remember you said that the next time he's a total asshole and doesn't realize it!

Jules, do you ski or snowboard?

My "skiing" consists of dressing up in a cute skiing catsuit, making 2 or 3 runs on the bunny hills, and hanging out at the chalet. I'll never master getting on and off the lifts, so I won't make a total ass out of myself trying. (Not to mention that cute guys are at the chalet often. . .I could feign an injury so I can get massages [:D])

Then you probably don't want to try to snowboard as I am convinced that, with very few exceptions, learning to snowboard REQUIRES three full days of falling down the mountain with no semblence of control achieved. Then, sometime on the third day, something 'clicks' and the next thing you know you're doing better than you thought ever possible. I have only seen ONE person who DIDNT need the three days of falling down the mountain before he 'got it' and that kind and warm soul passed while saving others on Sept. 11, 2001.

Having said that, perhaps next year (I can't go this year) we should try to put together a collarme get together at or near a ski resort. If enough of us got together we could get one hell of a house with all the amenities (hot tub, fireplace, kitchen, cable, etc). Sounds wonderful, spending the day on the slopes, the evening in the hot tub thinking up new, ridiculous things for the subs to do, doesn't it?

Don't mind me, I always start obsessing about the mountains when the snow begins to fall. As for those of us that don't like the snow - Lawrence really hates the snow, so you'd have good company in the chalet!

Count me in. If you need to find me or Lawrence, we'll be in the chalet. . .with Lawrence feeding me strawberries and serving me champagne.

Wonderful! Now the practical questions...powder or ice? (For the uninitiated that means left coast or right).

GoddessJules -> RE: Challenge to All Users (1/14/2005 9:47:18 AM)

Definitely POWDER!!!!

Okay, I'll admit that I have tried a few green runs. *BUT* I go down about half way. . .and one of my firends goes down to get one of those cute resuce guys to come get me on a snow mobile. I play the damsel in distress role pretty well [:D]

Ok, notice is hereby given to NOT discuss the times Suz has been 'carried off the mountain.' Horrid times, those. I prefer my boarding trips to be 'x-rays optional'.

While I can appreciate the sentiment of "powder" I can also think of a number of places that are well suited to the beginner. It's possible to say that some mountains are such that getting half way down a green would be the equivalent to doing greens all day and ending the day with a stab at a mild blue on another mountain. It just depends on the mountain.

Jules, I think we have hijacked this thread.
