Kinda like how we hijacked Lawrence's birthday thread? LOL
It's *your* fault! I'm just an innocent little girl!

<smile> You and luvsponge are going to get along famously. He's a blame kinda guy too; curiously, it's often me he blames. hahahaha

Somehow I don't think you're as innocent as he is, though (and that's sayin' something).

Be still, my libido.

While I can appreciate the sentiment of "powder" I can also think of a number of places that are well suited to the beginner. It's possible to say that some mountains are such that getting half way down a green would be the equivalent to doing greens all day and ending the day with a stab at a mild blue on another mountain. It just depends on the mountain.

I think beginners will have a much easier time in the east than they will in the west. I grew up on the oh so familiar packed powder and loose granular surfaces of places like Mt. Tom, Sundown and Wachusett. When I was living in SF and went to Tahoe the first time and found myself in powder up tp my knees, I felt like a cripple for most of the day as I re-learned to ski.

Jules, I think we have hijacked this thread.

Feel free to hijack any thread if it gets the topic away from canes and the application of said instruments to my anatomy.

I couldn't agree more. Belleayre Mountain in New York is particularly well suited to beginners. Excrutiatingly slow lifts, friendly staff, cheaper rates and because it's not so 'cutting edge' the lift lines are usually significantly smaller due to smaller crowds. The entire bottom half of the mountain is well groomed, wide "greens" that in many cases aren't as steep as the learning slope of some bigger mountains. It's a GREAT mountain for beginners with ample blues and blacks to keep the average snowrider interested. Off mountain accommodations are necessary, but there are private homes for rent in the surrounding area that could suit a small group of kinksters well. It's also about a half hour away from Hunter, which I'm told is a more challenging mountain.

<grin> So you could then redirect it? Methinks she doth protest too much!

For those that haven't noticed:

1) Stef is an attention slut.
2) She *loves* canes (she thinks she is so smart using reverse psychology.)

I'm thinkin' I could keep you interested.

How do you feel about needles, sutures, electricity and caths?

I find myself "cackling" (a term others have used to describe my laugh at particular times) at this monitor a lot these days.

I enjoy all with the exception of electricity. . .unless the electricity is used to power my Hitachi magic wand. [;)]

Are you going to do a skin corset on my back? [:D][:D][:D]

Have any experience with electricity internally?

Ummm....well...that's not the general direction I was going in, no. But if I did it would be to use to secure you to the table. "Pretty" needlework is ok, but I'm much more fond of those 'cause & effect dilemnas.'

I think it's double-reverse psychology.

I was using my Hitachi [:D] errmm . . .I'm composed again.

I've never had electricity used on me internally. I'm one of those "sharp pain" people so like paddles and floggers, I don't think that it would do much for me. . .*unless* it was an excersise in pure pleasure (like my wand!)

I'll make it easy on you. . .just use me as your pin cushion *grins*
*or*
You can test the sharpness of your razors on me.

I think you'd probably like internal electricity. Application is the key.

As for sharps, we don't need no steekin' razors - I've two cases of scalpels. I've also got a scourge that is delightful. Feels similar to a single tail but doesn't take as much finesse to throw and leaves the prettiest starburst pattern of bruises just under the skin (like tiny blood blisters). It's made of braided cod line. It's a good "percussions" instrument if you like sting and are interested in communing with your diety.

Of course, you're likely to come to realizing you're screaming "Suz!!!! My pin number is 684352!!!!!" But I don't have a problem with that. [:D]

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!!!! I would have given you that if you just asked nicely!!! And I *do* adore marks. My nickname should be "Lacerated Princess."

We *must* hook up. . .you are riling up the inner beast.

HAHAHAHAHA that's really good to know.

I have a girlfriend who says "Aftercare?!? Here's your stinkin' aftercare" and then smacks 'em upside the head. hahahahaha

Tampons and maxi's it is (although I'll have to see if sherri has any or buy some - those things haven't been part of my reality for more than 20 years). I DO, however, have well stocked medical supplies. Any kind of bandage you can imagine. I'm fond of tegaderm as it's clear so you can still see the pretty stuff underneath!

There is something delicious about the site of a yummy woman laying in a heap, completely spent, don't you think?

Then you probably don't want to try to snowboard as I am convinced that, with very few exceptions, learning to snowboard REQUIRES three full days of falling down the mountain with no semblence of control achieved. Then, sometime on the third day, something 'clicks'.........

While I have learned in my many years of getting to know MizSuz that when I debate a subject with her, she is inevitably proven correct, I do however feel a need to offer a small correction to her posit:

It does NOT take "three full days of falling down a mountain....then on the third day something clicks....", because I, as a seasoned pro (of snowboarding) was able to obtain a magnitude of discernment as to snowboarding in fewer than 2 hours that can only be described as "visionary", and indeed, "something clicked" for me in barely 7 minutes (even as I fought the obviousness of it for another hour and 53 minutes):

"SNOWBOARDING IS FOR PEOPLE WITH EITHER A DEATHWISH OR WHO WEIGH LESS THAN 140 LBS!!!!!"

And of course, what "clicked" for me (and I recommend this to ALL first time snowboarders) was..."On the first day God created bars...."

(I have another story about snowboarding, but it was so cold and DARK outside at the time, I'm certain I don't remember the specifics well enough to tell it accurately[:D])
