For Dom/mes I'm wondering if you've ever had a rather sudden, irrational impulse to request or require really strange things, not necessarily sex or play related. Maybe out of the blue you decide that a particular task or assignment would be beneficial to your subs growth in some way but perhaps have no rational idea as to why or how. For subs/slaves has your Dom/me ever required something really odd from you that DID have a beneficial impact on you, but at the time seemed really weird and made no sense at all? I really hope at least one person says yes, otherwise I will feel like a real weirdo.

Assigning seemingly non related strange tasks and assignments always keeps the interest fresh and outlook new. Perceptions always need to be tweaked also...just like nipples. ;) Ross

But as luck would have it (like I didn't know this was gonna happen), she got all excited over it...lol. OK..we have some strange scening techniques...lol.

No. It's just you. You're the weirdo. Sorry to break it to you like this. Actually, I can't see hardly anyone saying 'no' to this. Certainly two people in a relationship could have their sort of 'skit' worked out (I hit you here, you say 'ow', then I hit you there), but that does have the opportunity to get old quickly. It has been said here before that people change, not always quickly, usually subtly, and hopefully, in the case of a pairing, in the same direction. Tastes change, things that weren't interesting/exciting yesterday become so today. (Hopefully, things don't revert back, but I suppose that is possible as well.) I would say oftentimes one party, the dominant, might request/instruct the submissive to do something that had never happened before. It could be extremely out of the ordinary. Any of several things could happen. The submissive has a momentary pause (perhaps some internal squick), follows through and finds that that was quite interesting, or not. There could be an immediate reaction 'NO'. Oooh, not a good thing, probably requires discussion of some sort. The submissive has no hesitation and simply does what they were told. Their mental state might not be adjusted whatsoever. It was something 'to do', and didn't make them 'feel' any different. Catching the other person off-guard can be a wonderfully entertaining, as well as educational, pasttime. Both parties need to be aware that issues might come up and be prepared to handle them. I randomly tell Fox to do "weird" things all the time. Bark Sing a particular song Dance Clap his hands Do push ups Count in German Speak in an accent Count the fabric napkins Etc They are usually not things that take a long time, they re-enforce my authority, and generally help each of us laugh and relax.

Uhm I make him go out and buy a box of sugarless cookies then he comes home I make him strip and lay down on his stomach. Then I line them along his crackage and eat them while biting him, then pour milk on his cute hiney and lick it off. ...Is that wierd? I dunno. ~Lashra

My first dom had me do a few rather unusual things that come to mind. The first time I visited his house, he told me to get a kitchen pot and place it on the floor. Then he told me that I was to urinate in that pot instead of using the bathroom. I got rather hysterical, burst into tears and felt so humiliated. He didn't force me to do it, but left the pot there and told me that at some point, he felt confident that I would be willing to obey him. Eventually (I think the next day), I did so, and thankfully, he let me wash the pot, put it away and never made me do that again. I'm not sure why that was so difficult for me to do, but I learned that he would not force me to do something that was traumatic for me, but that eventually he expected me to get my mind around it and obey. The second thing he had me do was to go shopping and buy a ruler and tell the person I was purchasing it from that it was to measure the heighth of my shoes. (He wanted them all to be above 2.5 inches.) I felt rather silly doing this, but I agreed. It turns out though, when we finally were at the store (he was with me), the line was way too long and we ended up checking out at the self-checkout. I would have done it though, and just being willing to was rather fun. Another one that comes to mind was that he didn't allow me to ever cross my legs, even when he was not there, because he wanted me to be available to him at all times, "even in his mind". Occasionally I'd forget and catch myself when I was out in public without him and have to nonchalantly correct myself, which of course brought him and his ownership of me to mind. A few times when we were at home, I'd forget and he'd remind me, and it was always a bit of a rush to realize that he controlled me even in small ways. Also, I wasn't ever allowed to have a door shut between us the entire time I lived with him (3 months). Sometimes this was rather embarrassing, but he didn't ever treat it like it was anything unusual and eventually I got used to it. sp

I'm not much for humiliation play. I know a lot of people enjoy it...doms and subs alike. For me, there are so many other ways for my Dom to assert his authority. Of course, having said that, I also realize that what is humiliating for some may not be for me.

I've ordered many weird things...but that's just because I have a weird life and weird things happen around me. People in my life get used to it and go with it.

Well, I don't know if this qualifies as weird, but when My hubby was trying to sub to Me I had him attend a play party with Me ... he was forbidden to speak (he has a limit about gags so I had to use a mental one!), his usual writing hand was tied behind his back, and I hung a kiddie's magic slate with a stylus around his neck to be his only form of communication. In addition, he had to ask My permission for everything he wanted to eat or drink ... and no, he couldn't talk to Me either LOL! Others at the party were informed as to his silence and asked to dob him in if he disobeyed (and, knowing the crowd, he would've been sprung for sure!). I wasn't sure how he'd take to it ... he seemed rather morose at first (nothing unusual for him), but then he warmed to the challenge, and once he was finally allowed to speak in the car going home, he said he'd really enjoyed it! It sure limited his eating that night though (he was normally a bit of a pig) and that was a good thing. Another time, well, W/we had a blind dog then and he wasn't always very patient with little Rafferty, who had managed to learn commands such as left, right, stop and turn around since he'd gone blind. So I took My impatient one to a party ... and blindfolded him for the whole night. Other people were able to give directions as well as Myself, but there were a lot of laughs when he crashed into things. he found that much more difficult, especially as I didn't tell him the reason behind it till the end of the night. However, he was definitely a bit more sympathetic to Rafferty's plight for the next few weeks at least! Essentially, it might be weird but if it fits within SSC ... then just enjoy it! Mistress Jay

Usually when someone I'm attached to requests something weird, its ok and I get into it but once a Dominant I was involved with for a long time yelled in the middle of a session for me to sit on his face and ride him like a horse. I screamed "no!" and moved immediately into top space. It all happened so fast, I couldn't check myself, which I suppose is just as well because we weren't compatible anyway. I play casually with this guy who has, in the past, kept me at the computer for a week straight learning a modified black jack game. Another time he had me research digital cameras on the pretense that he was thinking about buying one and didn't know which one to get. I see these sorts of things as part of 'service' even if the service itself isn't 'real.' In principle, weird requests mix things up a bit and break routines. Being submissive can get kind of boring sometimes if all you're ever doing is dropping to your knees and...Sometimes its nice to use other abilities.
