i cannot see it myself, cos i know Mistress will not allow me to be shared with anybody, anyhow, it will be confusing for the sub wouldnt it????, i mean each Domminant is bound to have different likes and dislikes, though i guess its up to individual Owners how their subs are used i guess. i have an open mind with most things, but some things i dont get

Master would not let me serve another he does not share with others. That works well for me for i have no desire to serve another i am collared to Master so that does make a difference if you are collared. It works for some and i it does i say good for you, but i can only serve one i want to give him all my time and energy.

It's not too hard to get if you think about all the places in your life you encounter differing sets of rules and standards of behavior.

workplace / the mall
grandmas house / the parents house
moms car/ dads car
christmas dinner with relatives / bbq in the backyard

See? it's easy! Humans are incredibly flexible beings. Course, more yoga would help me..

I am wondering of the protocol when all domming is done online or via phone. How much disclosure is necessary? And how much control can actually be exerted (hmmm is that a word) if it is all just virtual?

My playtoys can serve or play with anyone they like, when they are not with me. I don't own them.
If they were collared, that would be different.

Since i am not owned, collared or in any committed relationship i see Whomever i want. i am not in the service of anyone presently but do have a Friend-with-Benefits who is Dom and we play on occassion. He is well aware that i seek a more committed relationship than He is able to provide. You may want to read "The Ethical Slut" which provides good information.

I am a member of a group that practices D/s on a group level which means I am submissive to all of the Dom/mes in the group. It is not confusing because I know each of them and their preferences. It is a wonderful way to be able to BE submissive, especially since I am not collared by anyone at the moment.
