sorry, sounds like a good one year place to work.......i tended to move around every two or three years or so........ but now Master is moving me to canada......the fact that Master wishes to continue living in canada.........so it looks like im moving to canada.....

a few of my gf nurses tell me that they have been contacted.......there are a lot of offers but nothing to keep a nurse there past what the contract offers........nursing is a highly stressful profession......we need a contract that also offers stress releavers.........few hospitals address  this easily ignored issue.....

I do not mean to make light of job stress, but that is what I miss most about being owned. To be able to after a rough shift to go home and ask my Master to hurt me to help relieve the stress.

I think it is wise and critical for all people that have stressful jobs to find a healthy outlet to blow off the stress. Even the smartest people can be the stupidest or in denial about this.

"I think it is wise and critical for all people that have stressful jobs to find a healthy outlet to blow off the stress."

......years ago, when i did my psych nurse training, the last module was entirely concerned with this area. It was all about burnout in staff members and how to spot, alleviate and help people with it. One of my tutors also was of the opinion that if we were any good at our jobs we'd only be able to do them for a few years.........mind you, they were drunk when they told me that.....lol
