I don't. I may be the minority but I don't use the holidays as a food excursion, anymore. I am exercising and eating right to loose weight someone bringing all that food over wouldn't be apreciated, because I can't or rather I shouldn't take part in huge gooey cookies, I am also borderline diabetic, so all that sugar and shit might just push it into actuall diabetie's if you're not super carefull. I would love to go hog wild and say fuck all health concerns eat up it's one day of the year, unfortunatly that one day of the year can ruin all the carefull health managments I have been doing lol. because once I get off the wagon I DON'T want to get back on and it's a million times harder to get back on than stay on. quote:
ORIGINAL: Chaingang cuddleheart50: Subfever has the right of it. Homemade is where it's at. All that store bought stuff just says you thought about someone just long enough to spend some of your money on them. Big deal. But when you show up with fresh baked gooey cookies, cake, lasagna, giant bowl of chili, cornbread, casserole, wheat bread, canned fruit, homemade salad dressing, fudge, etc - baby, that's the stuff! It's very economic and who doesn't want some tasty, delicious thing around the holidays?
