Heh a topic where I could really do some damage. I about died when I was 12 (21 now) by way of drowning .. That opened a six sence so to speak. I wish I could say ghosts was not real, but they are here.. But ghosts are mostly what you think they to be. Spirts lost and never found their way or still here for some kind of revenge. Thats the main reasons ghosts are here.. But there is more than ghosts out there. I'm not joking and you may want to offer me a straight jacket, but there are others like things close to vampires... I don't know what it was, but it formed from mist like a vampire so I just put it off as a vampire. There are also these shadows people that stand out against even the blackest of nights.. Its like their darkness is greater. When I see them something bad happens a little later... So to all you that don't belive I say this what you don't belive in shouldn't hurt you like said, but I wouldn't hold that to close. As I said I am not lying and I pray for all you who do not belive.. I pray for your safety .. I pray that what you don't belive in can't hurt you. I'd hate for something bad to happen vecause thats not true.

Just wondering how many people believe.

Yes, I believe.

I don't have the gift myself, but I do have people close to me who have had paranormal experiences. All but one of their experiences were limited to the visual plane, however.

Yes, I do.
I've had to many unexplainable experiences not to believe. I grew up with them. They've always been a part of my life.

I don't really think of them as ghosts persay but I most certainly believe there is more than the physical eye can see.

I wish I could share the energies that exists in the woods near my farm with everyone. You can just feel the presence, I sometimes see it in little flashes like little video clips or other times feeling as though they are watching me. Different areas have different "feels". There are some places I will only go when I am in a certain place within myself. It's weird and hard to explain.

And now that I have babbled on like a fool...............

Haven't read all the way through the thread yet, but just thought I'd say that no, I don't believe in ghosts.  I do, however, believe in demons.

I think anyone who believes in ghosts will see them, and anyone who does not, will not see them.  Which side is right, I don't know, and most people on both sides of the argument are biased (Either see too many ghosts or explain away strange things) but in general, I would say we are not entirely alone out there.

Yours,

benji

I believe because I use to live with one. When I was a child we had one who like to let us know he/she was around by switching the pictures on the wall around or opening cabinets that had books in them and throwing them on the floor. Also, one night when I was young, I had my very sick uncle visit me asking me to let him go (I was praying very hard that he would get better, he was my favorite uncle) that he was too sick to stay.  When I told him I loved him and I wished him well,  he died that morning. Mind you he was in a hospital over 200 miles away from me at the time.

yes i believe in ghosts or spritits or energies..whatever you want to call them. When i was little i used to converse with them. I thought everyone else could talk to them to. As i got older and hit teen years, i stopped listening to them. Eventually they just went away. Over the past few years, i think they are trying to communicate with me again, and i don't know if i want to open that door or not. BTW from what i belive we all have the ability to communicate with spirits, it really just depends how open you are to it.

I guess mainly because I'm not superstisious . It's one of those things that you just don't know.... so, yes, I could be wrong, but I doubt it heh heh.

Sure you're making sense, cuddles. I have seen things that I couldn't explain, but to me, that doesn't make it supernatural or anything. And I do understand the "fun factor"... and I'm not beyond exploiting that to get closer to a lady LOL.

It would be odd for me to say no when I belive that after I die, I'll be back to haunt. Anyhow, as long as stories live on and we keep our imaginations, ghost will always exist.

Where do I start!  I not only believe, they are a part of everyday life.  Saying that I don't mean that I see them every day but most nights I have 'visitors'.  Unfortunately, I'm not that strong a medium to hear exactly what they are saying.  Usually I hear the odd word or two and the rest is a load of whispering.

I have also seen spirits which look as solid as you or I.  One time in particular which springs to mind was a few years (mmmmm.....chocolate biscuits!  sorry, slightly distracted.  Back to where I was.) ago.  It was after an undisturbed sleep.  Now usually I'm not a morning person (well back then anyway) but as I woke up, I felt the usual intense buzzing feeling in the room as well as hearing a high pitched buzzing.  I opened my eyes and saw a tall, thin man with short, neatly cut, hazel coloured hair, not walk but glide like a cardboard cut out (but three dimensional) from my closed bedroom door, to the opposite side of the room towards my wardrobe door which has a mirror on it.  Before this guy got to the mirror the whole room felt like it clicked and he became slightly transparent.  Then it 'clicked' once more and he vanished!  By this time I was watching with wide eyes and heart pounding, frozen in my bed.  After a minute, I calmed down and looked at the time.  It was 6:30 AM (I never wake up naturally without an alarm clock) the curtains were open and the sun was blazing through the window.

Now, I am not crazy.  I am a rather rational person and have no record of mental illness before you ask! : )  However, I have seen energy ever since I can remember.  I don’t expect people to believe me when the subject comes up in conversation because unless you see stuff like this for yourself I can appreciate how difficult it is to understand the why’s ‘n’ how’s.  My answer to that is, I don’t know.  But what I do know is the reality of what I see personally and this does correlate to what others see at the same time, as I have tested it out on occasion with other sensitives.

Cuddleheart -

Mmm, I Love visiting Cemetaries and hanging out with the spirts.  I have been working with my Submissive (Amuzingtoyou) to enjoy the pleasures of romance in the Cemetary.  One day, we were walking through the grounds and I made a crude remark about a recently deceased women.  She reached up and punched me in the nuts!  I mean hard! Amuzing was laughing her ass off, and a bit scared at the same time.

If you don't believe..spend more time in Cemetaries and open yourself to another world.
