Status: offline 		After the Mistress Myths thread; I wanted to ask everyone: Doms, Dommes, f/m subs and slaves. What myths do you believe other people think of your role or orientation?

Mine would be: That all Doms or Masters think only about sex when it comes to their relationships.

1 we are not to have feels
2we can not be able to cubble
3 we are only thought as strong we are this but we have feeling
4 males submissive think of only what they want when they write
5 males do not understand they need to sever us no asking i like to be beating here or there
6 doms are thought to only be harsh with theri slaves not true
7 doms do not have feeling either, they are not heart broker when a slave leaves
8 do not put on you profile that you a bisexual male if your not fro some reason it has gone through the profile that we dominant unless we say so do no want bisexual males

That there is no difference between a sub and a slave.
 
AND.......that Jap bikes are as good as Harleys (stifle people, i am drinking too much coffee and on pain meds this morning so i just could not help myself there, lmao......I know that one has nothing to do with bdsm i really simply could not resist the temptation)

Status: offline 		1) A submissive cannot not function or be happy on a certainl level when not owned.
2) Submissive's cannot be as smart, wise or mature as a dominant.
3) Submissive's do not orgasm when doing things like cooking and cleaning for their Masters does not make them not submissve.
4) Total obedience/submission is not natural and while there is always a certain significant level, the level both parties usually want takes consistent participation and effort from both parties.
5) Our wanting/trying/needing to always put our Master first does not mean we do not have other desires and interests.

  • One's Master is never wrong
  • Slaves cannot make decisions on important issues
  • Slaves must be the ones to work while Master sits around watching wrestling and drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon.
  • Slaves should never be in change of household finances
  • If the slave is outgoing and assertive then she/he doesnt need Master's permission to play with others.
  • If you don't wear your collar all the time then you are not his slave.
  • Master and slave never argue
  • 'Service' only entails household chores and personal tasks.

Ok, i took out the money part but i can comment on the rest. Almost 75% of the subbies i have written to and maybe 50% of those that have written to Jewel either offer to sub to me as well or assume i am available to them for play.
 
Why? Is this the myth you are busting that i never knew existed?
 
It is not because i contacted them because in the first few lines of the initial email it states quite explicitly who they would be sub to and who they would be sexually available for.
 
Or is this another male fantasy like watching two women get it on?

Status: offline 		Probably.  but at the same time I have noticed ever since the onset of the Internet that many males seem to feel that any females who are online at all, are there to find men to have sex with (virtual, cyber or phone), and particularly, with that male who carries said assumption.  It's not just limited to the BDSM/kink crowd.

this slave has found many myths through the years; the most consistant one though is that becasue she is a slave, then she must also be mindless, helpless, emotionally and physically in need of repair
 
after the first couple years of running into this kind of mindset, this slave learned to just smile and go on her merry way

Status: offline 		If a slave is a strong willed person who has her shit together, and doesn't tolerate disrespect, and has the ability to stand up for herself with dignity, she is trying to take charge and top from the bottom, or she is just plain rude for having or stating an opinion at all.
