I found out about it through a submissive that I met through pounced (a furry personals).  So, it was kind of a strange coincidence.  I have also introduced a few other furry's to here...

gosh- thats a tuff one. im all over the web. i look at sites others look at. i constantly strive to locate the profound. friends call me "radar"- as they say i can find anything. LOL. i wish. yes- i do ok.... but we all know there is always someone abit sharper.

one observation.  i came due to the intrigue. i STAY due to the many nice people here. i find the boards very informative, entertaining.

Hmmm...I think I heard about it from a submissive also...but it might have been through another Dominant. Hell, I can't remember. Who knows? I'm here now and that's all that matters since this is the Universe According to Fire, right? [;)]

 I heard about CM from my brother's slave at the time (yes my brother is also a Dominant).   She knew that my wife and I were searching for submissives so she sent me the link. I am glad that she did. My wife and I have found what we have been searching for and are very happy that we found her here on CM.

I saw it once long ago when researching BDSM as I was requested to do by my former dominant, but I did not see the boards and I was not looking so I passed it by

After I began talking to my Daddy he told me about CM and I read all his posts, joined myself. We had not even met yet. He wanted me to have a place to look for more serious dominants even if he and I did not "click" when we actually met.. we clicked real well[:D]

Himself told me about it, knew the email group I had been on for several years went pretty much defunct and pointed it out to me as something he thought I would enjoy.  I have no idea how he found it and he doesn't remember. He 'thinks' someone may have mentioned it to him. After I got here, I discovered there were several here who I already know (both V/t and R/t) and I've been pretty happy about the whole thing.

Kinda odd how I stumbled onto CM....  I have a profile over at the "other" place. Got so tired of the no-responce thingy after working hard to try and send a decent respectable note to any potentials that I started to email them to let them know I thought it was rude to not respond one way or the other? One of the gals that didn't respond to first note finally did after I sent the "rude for not responding note" and she told me to try my luck over here? So if you read this my little rude Domina....thanks!!!!!!!!  lol

A good friend asked me for an opinion on a profile of a Dominant she was considering. I came on to the site to look at it but found that I needed a profile to do so. The next day when I logged into my home e-mailbox I found I had a gajillion notifications of emails from this site. After that I found the forums and have been here since.

Wow, I really had to think about this one then I just now had the lightbulb come on.

I had read a profile on alt that was really well written and expressed alot of how I feel about the whole thing. I had emailed him to get more information but being the arrogant Master sort of guy that he is, found him about as helpful and informative as .........a descriptive I cannot come up with at the moment.......and remembered reading something in his profile about a site called collarme. The rest is history!!

And yeah, the arrogant rude dude has a profile on collarme also but is never ever on the forums as far as I have noticed. Though I would like to know if he is "for real" sounded like a pretty sweet setup he has.......hmmmmmm....

I stumbled across it doing a search for bdsm info sites last year. Clicked on it, checked it out, set up my profile, found the forums and voila!

I had a profile on bondage and saw collarme mentioned in someone's profile.
I zipped over here and set up a profile and like this site so much better.  I had no luck at all on bondage.  I still have a profile there as petitespot, but rarely get any mail there.
