Through a friend -    she had a couple of slaves here; and asked me to assist; still new and trying to feel out the evil, sick, depraved, etc.. .... LOL

I was actually looking for groups on MySpace, but before I joined one of those I saw this site mentioned in a number of posts. Checked it out, joined, and now I'm happily surrounded by kinky people. [:D]

I think I found it though a site on wikipedia when I was researching BDSM. I came upon the forums at first and took about 3 days to read the forums...I think I went 10 pages back on all the major sections and did searches on anything else I was curious about. Then, I decided to put up a profile and the rest is history.....

A friend on bondage.com gave me the address

Misstoyou -> RE: Sort of off.. but, how did YOU hear about CM? (9/27/2006 9:57:44 PM)

A submissive friend of mine on the East coast asked me to join so I could keep up with her through her journal entries...and then her Dom disciplined her by revoking her permission to write. By then I was already hooked. lol

(Actually, I've never been on any other site. Don't f*ck with success. [:D] )

LTRsubNW -> RE: Sort of off.. but, how did YOU hear about CM? (9/29/2006 7:33:05 PM)

It was the damndest thing.  It was a game show, 1967, the announcer said "Name one thing that Ricardo Montalban said that was pertinent" and I said..."I don't freakin know!!!" ... and the announcer said "THAT IS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!!!!"

And then I thought..."how could I know more?", and it dawned on me..."if there was a universal source of data, here at my fingertips....(but what does that really mean????...indeed, it was 1967), and then it dawned on me...if I had a desk...with all kinds of little letters and shit printed on my desk top.....hmmmm..."desktop"....I like that...it has a ring to it....anyway....if I had a desk...that was really smart....like...it knew where my car keys were...that would be cool".

And so I began to toil.

Years later...I was working in a small business park in the Seattle area...

A young Bill Gates was outside (yes it was a shabby business park...you can somewhat forgive them...they had only earned $17 million in profits over two years, and with barely 11 employees), I was fixing some exterior plumbing...and he was arguing vociferously on his blackboard amongst his associates...NO!!! It's 011101101110000010010100101111!!!!!!"

I snickered, but continued to work on my plumbing.

Bill looked over but said nothing. (I continued to work).  But when he said "Look, it's 0001000101010100001...or it's fucking nothing", I chuckled again. (This was pretty basic shit {as anyone can see}).

And then Bill said..."Hey...Plumber....you got a big one don't ya?  You think you're hot shit...here's the chalk PAL!!!!...Blackboard's over there...  Dig in bonehead...show your stuff....you're on babe...it's yours".

What am I gonna do...I'm working?  But these kids are walking in the dark, I'm feeling benevolent (and it IS a challenge)....so I say "Right...hey look man...I'm just trying to make a living here....but....anyone in their right mind can see it's 00101001001111110010010011111".

They stopped in their total freaking tracks...look at each other...look at me...then at each other again....and they just quietly go back in the building....quiet as fucking church mouses....

And what do you know....3 weeks later DOS 4.72 comes out...

(And is MY MOTHERFUCKING NAME MENTIONED?????... I think not).

(I'm just asking for some recognition...that's all).

Oh yeah...."How'd you hear"...and all that....it was Bigfoot....(honest).
