I try to avoid overtly abusive relationships by avoiding people who will try to bring that out in me. It's one of those strange parts of dysfunction, that you CAN get sucked in by someone who is raised that way, and feels she needs it.

The power rush is a pretty sick one, and just not worth it in the long run.
