Absolutely. How can i resepct a Dom/Master who can't construct a decent sentence? But again, as my earlier post said, if a man has a good command of the English language and knows how to use that then it's the first barrier down in me wanting to correspond.
Personally language is very important to me - as most of the exchanges are going to happen online, then how he uses that media is essential. This is where i get the first impression of someone, and not checking out basic English points makes them seem sloppy or dumb - even if the case is not true.
But then, maybe i'm being a snob (quite possible I'll get a barrage of people telling me my spelling is all shot to pieces and that i shouldn't judge people on that...but at the end of the day, it's part of the first impression).

Well Bishop, I read your profile and to be honest, most women do not respect a man who is only 5'7". May I suggest you learn to lie about your height or maybe get yourself some elevator shoes.

Agree with most; the spelling and grammar errors are sloppy - esp in this age of spell-checks etc. Which, therefore, makes you look even more lazy than illiterate.

Not sure what *you* mean by D/s being a "one way street" but I certainly don't agree.... Subs/slaves belong to their Master with a reasonable expectation of having their own needs met, too, and if that doesn't happen, expect to be minus that sub/slave!

Domination comes from the mind - it doesn't matter how high off the floor your particular mind is; you've got it or you ain't! You're five-seven, it's only an issue because you're making it one - drop it and live with it; it's who you are!

And "the sub/slave" is still a human being, not a piece of machinery, so you might consider lightening up in that form of terminology; thus showing your own self to be human, too! I think that's the most important aspect lacking from your profile, the human quality.... Successful D/s relationships have more happening between the relevant parties than just D/s but your profile has the feel of someone whose been reading too much "kneel bitch" literature then tried to "soften" it then work it into a profile. You've picked up on important issues such as communication but your attempts to work them into legible sentences are way clumsy and mechanical.

Personally, I think you should start over and write more about who you really are rather than borrowing so much from cliche, macho, net-dom terminology. And finding a sub isn't like selecting options on a new car - everyone has gifts and flaws, which doubtless includes yourself, so stop being so selective as you may deter your ideal partner without ever meeting her....

Dude, awesome profile. Anyone reading it would have a good sense of what kind of guy you are.

I'm guessing the no picture part, and how attractive you are is the issue.

I personally find not having an updated picture pretty unforgivable in 2005 for anyone who has net access AND wants to put up a personals ad.

But will give a full on critique later.
