One of 3 (or more) things is happening here.

1) You're illustrating that 'punishment' should not be enjoyed, or else it will continue the behavior.

2) You're illustrating that a fundamental lack of communication, either given or received, will be the downfall of a relationship

my thinking is how dare anyone disrespect by tip toeing trodding or walking through a beautiful flower garden
and consiquences should be expected especially after one has asked other wise. my question would simply be may i pick a bouquet to enjoy or can i just sit here and enjoy this garden and please may i have a spanking

so many people forget to take the time to just sit and enjoy such beauty of a flourishing garden or take the time to smell the flowers they tend to often to be in to big of a rush so they trod or walk thru life not experiencing the simplier things in life or refusing to listen to others and what is importatnt them we tend to only think of our own selfish wants and desires just my little input on how i view most of the world today

its a garden variety roses, daffadils gladolious, hybiscus,rose moss butterfly bushes, zinnias, red eye susans , and theres never a good time to trod thru any garden just take the time to enjoy such a garden and spanking would be up to the giver myself perfer a good thick wooden paddle myself

I state up front that not only should my orders be obeyed but the intent of them. If I had to explain to a submissive that "don't trod on the flowers" meant I wanted my damn flowers intact and not skipped on, run on, jumped on, etc. then that person is not someone who will do well with me. Purposely disobeying like that would not be tolerated. Answering in such an idiotic, sarcastic manner would also not be tolerated. Getting a spanking would surely not happen.

Who is the dom in this scenario? When will the dom catch a clue that the spanking "punishment" is not exactly working? Punishing by giving the sub exactly what she wants is not punishment at all and only encourages bad behavior and gives the wrong impression...unless of course, the dynamic is that you care not about the flowers and enjoy the play punishment stuff and a sammy sub.

If I had a submissive who enjoyed spankings such as this (and I have) I would not have given them one after the first time they "walked, trod, tiptoed thru the flowers. They would have gotten a punishment for being in the flowers period and another punishment for being such a smart ass to me about it. These punishments definitely would have been something that they do not like. I will not put up with such behavior from a submissive.
I do not mind a little teasing with a submissive, but if he/she has been given a directive and tries to use semantics to get around and also shows such disrespect for what I have asked then they deserve to be punished.

So what W/we have here is a Dom who changes the rules to ensure sub always succeeds. He wants to spank? or He wants sub to always get what she wants, in either case, the setting is designed so he never has to deny either Himself or her.

Most likely if this happened at my house, Master would have changed the rule ONCE. To I'll only spank you when you walk in the flowers. then He would go out and dig up the whole flower bed. He would go without the flowers, and go without the spanking, and go without the happy bottom, for the sole purpose of maintaining His position and authority. If That didn't cure all, He would go without the sub. i like that. Actually, i need that.

Definitely an odd duck.
As a parent of four, I learned how to control my kids before they ventured out into society.
Kids being kids always tried to find a way around my decisions, but of course that would never work.
I would see through any potential issues long before they thought of them. am a dom of a parent.

There should be a school for this..
