I wanted to add a bit of a comment to this posting. I take care of what is mine. I think part of submission or possibly slavery is the Dominant person takes the submissive into their household so that this person can submissively serve them.
To me, this is less of a D/s thing and more of a relationship thing. I have anything to drink, I do not drive my car. It is a hard limit. I almost never take perscription medication, and if it has warnings on the side about driving I dont drive.
While I am not sure you want to hear this, but the fact that that person drove impaired and you drove with them without getting them to stop makes me wonder what other behaviors you put up with to be in that relationship.
I might be forgiving one, but I would indicate that the behavior stops or I pack my bags and walk.
Just me, etc.
