Ok, let me rephrase my post!  Try a store called www.avenue.com  If you go into a store they will measure you and help you find what you need.  Average cost is $45 and they have all types and colors of bras.  Sexy to plain every day ones.

I do want to apologize, right as I submitted my post, I went to edit it, to remove a specific part and it had already been pulled.  I typed the post without thinking.  My sincerest apologies!

lol.  Trust Me...  It is not that men like boobs wrapped around the knees.  They do not.  Because you are not a man, you do not know.  You live in this fantasy land where it is "take me as I am".  Most men do not.  I have NEVER heard a man say that he likes saggy, ugly boobs.  They comment on firmness, erect nipples, perkiness, etc.  Some like them big, some like them small, but none brag about saggy boobs with the nipples examing your feet.  In front of a woman, though, the story is different because they do not want to hurt her feelings, any more than they want to be told they have a small penis.  They just secretly wish she had a boob job.

At the bar you find every type of man, depending on which bar you go to.  Your stereotype image is completely, flat out wrong.

ah nevermind.  I am so not talking to you about breasts.

As for the OP...If you want comfort, Wacoal makes a nice bra.  I am a larger breasted woman as well,  wearing a 34/36 DD and I have found Bali bras to be the best.  I wouldnt recommend the molded cups, they only make you look bigger.   I prefer the non-contour cups because I prefer the shape of my breasts to be seen. And I also like the seamless cups because you dont get lines across your clothing.  I buy the lined cups so the fabric is doubled, but its thin and it has stretch to it, which shows off the shape of your natural breast and still allows for some natural bounce, while maintaining that lovely smooth look in a tight shirt.   Bali also makes a good minimizer bra.  I have a couple of those and wear them with button down shirts, as I have a problem getting them to close on top.  Bali is the best I've ever found and not too dearly priced.

maybe get properly measured as lots of women wear the wrong size,

Exactly!  I had been wearing a 38 C (same size I'd worn for years), and I finally realized it wasn't working for me anymore.  I had myself measured and apparently a 36 DD is what works for me now.  Go figure.

Thanks to (almost) everyone for some terrific guidance and great advice.

Funny thing about this thread is that the technical info. came from the women and the emotional input came from the men.
And women say men won't express their feelings.   lol

Men will say ANYTHING when we are trying to get....you know where!!
Its only later we have to stop and think...and maybe regret!
Hope I haven't given away any little secrets there !
