Ugh... I bought the first one 'cause I occasionally do tarot readings. I didn't really dig the storyline, though.

That's what fanfic is for. It's not everyone's cuppa, but 'free expression' and all. What's really messed up is when you find the fanfic written about other fanfics...

Bleach is by far my current fav anime though I also read the manga, Helssing is another favourite (subs only please dubs make my ears blled for the most part) I've been watching anime waaay before it was popular when you would still get ragged on because you were still watching cartoons. I was just at Anime Weekend Atlanta which is always fun because I know some of the voice actors and higher ups that work for ADV.

Subs are only as good as the translator. There's nothing worse than a bad sub job. That being said, I prefer sub over dub usually. I'm a fanfic reader. I would give back to the people, but there's enough bad writing out there already.

ADV are great, they put a lot of effort into their dubs. (Hellsing is bearable except for one accent which is soooo far off I can't believe it) I love the recent miyazaki translations. especially Neil Gaiman's take on Mononoke. I would really love to audition for the Western voice of Kurotshuchi Mayuri in bleach

Gaiman and Miyazaki both r0xx0rs. I met Gaiman... I was dressed as his Death at the time. I don't know if my voice is suitable for voice acting. I think it'd be an awesome job, though. lol I can't tell what I sound like.
