In short the question answers itself: those things can easily be accomplished in the precise manner they were accomplished before the advent of the modern corporation. But the way you pose the issue it contains a false dichotomy - it's not either this or that, it's more about strict regulation of the corporations that are currently out of hand. You can have a corporation, no problem. But I also think corporations should be regulated quite heavily - far more than they are now.
