Rumtiger -> RE: Poor Poor Yankees (10/8/2006 7:19:04 PM)

Hey if the Mets go all the way Arties gotta make out with Blue Iris, thats gonna be great.

Only Howard Stern fans will get this.

Aileen68 -> RE: Poor Poor Yankees (10/8/2006 7:29:28 PM)

I haven't listened to Howard since I stopped working seven years ago.

Rumtiger -> RE: Poor Poor Yankees (10/8/2006 8:26:40 PM)

This thread is really going to do wonders for LaM's good mood. It was bad enough last year when they lost....but this year this early? lol

He's a Yankee fan?  Ooops.
Sorry you like such a lousy team LaM.

Lordandmaster -> RE: Poor Poor Yankees (10/8/2006 10:02:18 PM)

Yeah yeah yeah.

Aileen68 -> RE: Poor Poor Yankees (10/8/2006 10:07:47 PM)

Ooohhh...speechless, practically.

Estring -> RE: Poor Poor Yankees (10/9/2006 12:05:43 AM)

The only consolation that I can take after my Dodgers lost is that they lasted longer than the Yankees.

SirKenin -> RE: Poor Poor Yankees (10/9/2006 7:46:58 AM)

I like the Blue Jays Myself...  Although I do not think they stand a chance.  lol

As for Howard Stern, I think he lost his edge after his first week on the air.  [&:]

I like the way this century is trending.  Tucson, Arizona has more World Series Champion teams than New York.

atropa7 -> RE: Poor Poor Yankees (10/9/2006 8:59:02 AM)

And yet, they're still the winningest team in all of history.

Lordandmaster -> RE: Poor Poor Yankees (10/9/2006 10:09:49 AM)

Well, not MORE teams.  At best, the same number.  But watch out, the Mets might make you eat those words.

Moloch -> RE: Poor Poor Yankees (10/9/2006 4:15:29 PM)

I can proudly go home because I dont live in Joisey! So ha! *mutters something about nuclear mutant waste state from hell*

Aileen68 -> RE: Poor Poor Yankees (10/9/2006 4:36:35 PM)

That would account for our really large, yummy produce.

Actually it is more teams.  In Tucson, we have the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Chicago White Sox.  True, we only have them in March, but we have them both (plus the Rockies.)  And, even if the Mets win this year, that's still only one for NYC this century.

dombill32 -> RE: Poor Poor Yankees (10/9/2006 7:39:00 PM)

Definitely not a Yankees fan but not a hater either, I always liked Paul O'Neil.  At least they are trying to win every year, where alot of teams owners are trying to make money.

That being said its a good thing King George has a weakness for homerun hitters, if he ever wakes up and starts investing in pitching again then Ill worry about them.

Lordandmaster -> RE: Poor Poor Yankees (10/9/2006 8:03:08 PM)

The Yankees won in 2000, and I don't do that Yankee-hatin' 2000-was-technically-still-in-the-20th-century stuff.
