King George decided to take on a madman that had already been declawed and now our resources are stretched and our respect and integrity so damaged in the worlds eye that we have become somewhat helpless. You can argue that all countries have the right to have this power but North Korea as well as Iran are lead by truly insane men and that is just plain scary and there is little we and apparently other countruies are willing or wanting to do. Heck, the U.S. is even starting to lose Afghanistan. I think history is going to show the George W is going to go down as a truly horrible incompetant leader in historical precedent. Rheteric on how great and powerful we are means so little to people outside of our borders. I wish King George and others could realize this.

Im much more worried about a country that HAS nukes AND the missles CAPEABLE of hitting us than some tin-pot dictator in the middle east who basically has missles that could go 100 miles...or less. The Bush Administration is the ultimate FAILURE of the last century of the history of America as far as I'm concerned.

I would not assume that the leaders of North Korea and Iran are insane men. In fact, what we know about Iran and North Korea is fed by our Governments and their media ally (in Britian it is Rupert Murdoch's empire who have a cosy little relationship with the present Government). It is a proven fact that in cahoots with business they will tell us anything, absolutely anything, to achieve their aims. The threat that North Korea poses is not a direct one to the US people. The real threat to is that the North Koreans will use their military power to bully developing countries in order to exploit their resources (just as the US and British Governments have done in Iraq). North Korea will not attack the US and vice versa, there is not a cat in hells chance. Just like the USSR and the US did not attack each other. They used their military power to bully other countries and create empires. In simple terms, the North Koreans want their place in the sun. They are not attempting to achieve anything more or less than what the US and British Governments have already achieved.

While I would agree that one should be extremely sceptical about what western media feeds us about N Korea, to say they have a rational leader is going a little too far. Just about every major country in the world is against N Korea having nukes because they see it as an unstable country. Kim has been happy to watch his people starve while pursuing his goal of a nuclear weapon. The whole leadership cult in N Korea leads one to believe that their leadership is somewhat psychotic. However, Iran is not N Korea and to put the two together is a nonsense.

Gent, et alii; Interesting how many people see through the bullshit. I have started to think that media control is a two pronged front. To explain, of course we all know what we are fed by the media is mostly bullshit, but what of the politicians. To be able to twist, bend and control what the populace of a nation sees is a great power indeed. We know they do that. I'll veil it, but I won't say it, it'll only invite flames, but where there is smoke there is fire. The they of which I speak you may insert any other word you want, but they slant and spin the news to garner enough popular support for their agenda. We all know that, but what of the politicians ? Have you ever heard of a "free speech zone" ? In case you haven't let me enlighten you. When Bush comes to town if you are caught with an anti-Bush sign you are escorted to an area usually a bit over ¼ mile away with others of your ilk. The media nor Bush will ever see you there, and they won't even let the media into the free speech zone. If you do not go to your free speech zone, you will be arrested. Every time I hear anything about Bush or Blair I am amazed at how stupid they are, is it possible that the same elements who control the media for the masses also have a strict control over what information is fed to the "leaders" ? It would then follow that there is no sense in voting because they all get fed lies and are manipulated. What we need is to elect those who won't fall for it then, but I think greed is a very large issue here. Perhaps they are threatened as well, not with death so much as financial downfall. If obedient, they are rewarded. Protesters are kept away from them and the media, if they buck the system, well, look at what happened to Nixon. Look what happened to Lincoln. A smart Man of high principles would be in great danger indeed if he held the office of President of the US. If y'all decide to elect me I'll throw the secret service out and hire my friends as bodyguards, then I will start to restore the country to how it should be. There will be hard times, but it would be worth it. BRB T

Been having a problem with fast reply, so I broke this up. If I got elected President, every last fucking word I say, everything I do in my official capacity is common knowledge except for my private time. That is time during which I drink, smoke pot, get a piece of ass, whatever. I will have the same rights as you, but not at work. I would not be getting a blowjob in the oval office to say the least. When I am at work I think about the job. Clinton should've been docked for the time he was supposed to be working, and decked for defiling our nation with his antics. See, to me that is a display of lack of self control. Other than that I would surely rather have Clinton than Bush. Now think to yourself, why are our choices so limited ? Certainly no President or upcoming President is pulling these strings. If they did they would just do it to their best advantage and be elected unanamously. Who is above them ? If you got control of both major political parties you almost don't need total control of an election, both candidates are on your side anyway. One guy gets the job, one guy we get him another job. That simple. Keep telling yourself "It is not a conspiracy, it is cooperation". You'll be fine. Hmmmm, cooperation between big money, the media and government, thing that gets me is, who seems to have alot of money ? See the Bill Gates thread, the little guy always gets shafted, well almost always. But it is not a conspiracy. Now I see I have to sum this up. My last two posts may seem a bit unrelated except for the following. See it is the same old thing, the quest for world domination. They are damnear there too. They are going to sit there wielding the might of this great nation, the WMD of this great nation to bully other countries not to have the same WMDs ? Being a bully and taking lunch money is one thing. Certainly not good, but it seems this bully is intent on injuring it's opponents to the point where they can never fight back. That is akin to a schoolyard bully who intentionally maims one of his victims so he can never come back and seek revenge. That is exceedingly distasteful to me. Also criminal. There is a certain psychology to these meglomaniacs, and I believe it is for the most part, learned. Their hubris and greed are unbounded, it will never be enough. I think many of them aspire to have all the money in the world literally, not realizing that success would yield the money worthless. That is one advantage that We The People do have, our oppressors are not all that smart. Actually our actions in the last few decades do not shine a favorable light upon us. We The People have done next to nothing to reverse, or at least slow this trend. You want to take over the world, go ahead and have a crack at it, but they should not be using the military might of MY country, or YOURS to do it. I might not like it, I am no big fan of Korea or Oriental countries at all. The People are fine, but their whole form of life is foreign to me. However I do think that they should not be hampered from posessing the tools to defend themselves. In the light of the fact that we are not exactly alies and that we are "conducting operation near their theatre of operations", to put it in the most logical sense, I would do exactly what Korea is doing. The government of Korea is charged with the task of defending it's borders and fostering the well being of it's Citizens. Seems like they are doing a better job than the US government. Sad facts my friends, but true. Now what do we do ? Let WW3 happen ? or find a way to get these assholes to regain their senses. I wish the Korean Pres would get on TV wordwide and say just about what I said; "You people are bombing the shit out of anybody you feel like, damn right I'm getting nukes, don't fuck with us". I almost makes me feel good that someone will say "Fuck you" to them. Remember the them of which I speak is not America, not the US, none of this shit they do is in our best interest. Hasn't been for decades, actually a century or so. And I can prove it. T

Just a little stir of the pot but how do you KNOW that N Korea want any more than to defend themselves. Plain answer is.....you dont. Some even say that the 1953 War in Korea was started by Synghman Ree, from the SOUTH !
