What if you aren't looking for the One? Not everyone here is searching for that long term commitment. Some are just searching for one that they can play intensely with. Does that make me a fake? Or am I just as real as you?

No, it doesn't mean you're a fake. At least I hope not, because I'm not really looking for The One. And, I like to think I'm real. And smart enough to notice The One if I happen to stumble over him. Because sometimes I get the feeling there's only one, and never more than one, and if I miss Him I'm shit out of luck for the rest of my life. And that would really suck.

I don't have an aversion to the word true, but to me it doesn't mean everyone is looking for what I am. Not looking for the one doesn't make you less real than anyone else... Being honest on the other hand makes you more so than most. M

I suppose if I were to play 'loosely' as a top, then maybe being in a committed relationship wouldn't be necessary. Maybe. Throw D/s or M/s into the picture, I refuse to even touch playing.
