As I have said before....sometimes there is not enough soap and hot water in the world to make me feel clean again after some of the things I come in contact with....this video a prime example.

Notice what her last name happens to be? She's a Phelps. Almost all of that genejoke "rev" Fred Phelps' congregation are his inbred family.

What sickens me is how FAUX NEWS (We Distort - You Abide) only NOW starts casting a bad light of that bastard's antics. It was A-okay in Sean Hannity's eyes when Phelps' cronies would do those abominable things at the funerals of gay men like Matthew Shepard, who was beaten horribly and left to die in the cold midwestern night.

These are America's religious extremists and their numbers are growing. Very scarey shit indeed. She is insane just like the rest that were out there protesting these dead soldiers. We can only hope the church bus she and her religious nut friends ride in takes a dive over a cliff.

This woman has the sad disadvantage of having been indoctrinated (possibly from early childhood, I dont know her whole story) with the beliefs that she is dutifully and obediently spouting off on the clips we've seen. She believes in that reality. I don't know about crazy, but I think that she holds some delusional beliefs and you can bet she didnt come out of the box that way. As angry as this group's actions make me feel, I also feel sorry for her and the other people who have been weaned on fear, hatred and a concept of a cruel and hateful God.

Does anyone know how small the group this crazy woman represents is? It is basically an extended family. I hardly see these people taking over the country.
I find it funny that when people on the radical Left have ridiculous beliefs such as Ingrid Newkirk saying that the barbequing of chickens is the moral equivelant of the Holocaust, no one is worried about that point of view taking over. Or the moronic students at Columbia University who shouted down the representatives of the Minutemen as they tried to give a speech? Quite the example of tolerance and free speech there.
I still haven't seen anyone give examples of people like this taking away anyone's rights. But I did see where the government of People's Republic of Santa Monica has now effectively banned smoking in that city. Anyone worried about that?

Passive smoking kills, with no way to stop breathing in order to block it. Passive listening is not so harmful and O/one just has to either turn her off or hum her out of Y/your consciousness.

I don't smoke. Never have and never will. This is about freedom. Last I checked, cigarettes are legal. I think that curtailing freedom, even if it is something I am against, is more dangerous than any chance I may get a whiff of someone's cigarette smoke. But that is just me.

There are extreme nutcases everywhere, not just religious ones.

I don't like extreme liberals, extreme conservatives, extreme religious, extreme anti-religion, etc.

If you are SO set in your beliefs that you won't even listen to another point of view, then no one should listen to your point of view.

I'm sure she has her own skeletons in the closet that she'd be mortified if anyone ever found out. It's people like her that makes America look bad to the rest of the world. She needs to be one of the ones GWB uses to make an example of people considered to be terrorists - lock her up, don't charge her with anything (because if you do, she'll never shut up about how she's 'innocent', keep her in the dark and it might just stun her into silence)and lose the key. Simple.

I completely agree that it is about freedom.

People are free to smoke.

I am free to breathe air without people's cigarette smoke in it.

Alcohol is legal.

I am free, by legal definition, to drive my car on a street where people are not driving drunk.

The people in Santa Monica have decided that the smoking public is unwilling or unable to show common courtesy to non-smokers in their city, so they have passed laws to dictate where and when people can smoke to protect the rights and freedoms of non-smokers.

They are similar in nature to laws about where and when people (or their dog) can have a bowel movement, urinate, throw their garbage away, etc.

It puzzles me when people think that one form of spreading their garbage around should be illegal, whereas another form of spreading their garbage around is bad.

Just me, could be wrong, but there you go.
