Since Santa is obviously a biker two things are about to happen;

1) Mrs.Claus is in the garage removing the gas tank and cleaning it out.

2)Santa wears biker boots, you are about to get them up your ass.

It sounds as if many of the disappointed would-be slaves are far more concerned with their own wants and desires than they are with the wishes of their prospective owners.

My take on it is: You will serve naked if your owner wants you to, not because it's your fantasy.  Ditto for all the rest of it.  Being a slave means that you don't get to dictate to your owners.  Once you've found an owner who'll accept you and respect your limits, you do whatever they require of you.  Owners don't sit around thinking about ways to please their slave.

And I'm still struggling with the revelations about Santa.  The Easter Bunny (and Bilby) and the tooth fairy are off limits, ok?

And I can tell you that this isn't relegated to submissives, it exists in Dominants as well.  I work with a local outreach group here in Pittsburgh (blatant advertisement... Pittsburgh Leather Archives for Newcomers or PLAN... http://pittsburghleather.org/index.php ) that acts as a "gateway" for those that are new to the lifestyle (or new to the area) and in search of some reliable information offered in a comfortable environment such as a local coffee house or restaurant.  We endeavor to reach out personally in order to make folks feel welcome in taking those first few tentative steps out into the local real time community.  To make a long story short, I'd venture to say that perhaps fifty percent (a sizeable percentage, to be sure) of those folks we meet express a fervent disappointment that we're not always dressed in leather, the submissives aren't always begging entry or exit, and we're not generally acting like some sort of clown troupe.  We never see that fifty percent again, as their disappointment in reality is so complete that they retreat back to their fantasy which is (evidently) more fulfilling.

I think you make an excellent point here. For so many the only "experience" they have in online via messenger or chatrooms along with porno's and fantasy books and reality really sucks when compared to those.

I must be feeling particularly masochistic today because I'm about to invite another flame fest here... but along with the fantasy comes the third person speak. Ok, some of you do use it when with your owners... more power to you.... but do you also use it at work? In a restaurant? (talk about confusing the waiter!!) How much of that is fantasy and how much is real?

Or the caged all the time, nude all the time... I could go on and on but I won't since I really didn't read the other responses and I may be making no sense at all.... lol

If anyone went into third person speak in public, people would probably just assume that English wasn't their first language.

And being caged or nude all the time would probably present some difficulties if you go out to work.  Although a naked, caged receptionist would probably attract a lot more business to your company....

Jewel, as you know I get around.... a lot.  *LOL*   And truth be told, I have never (not once) met someone who spoke in the third person beyond the timeframe of a scene.

On the other hand, I have never once seen Sasquatch or little green men from Mars, and I have it on good authority that they exist as well.  What's a guy to think?

I know one person in the three months I have been pretending to be a dominants who's master is annoying enough to ensure that she speaks third person all of the time... and, she is annoying enough to do it.

What he meant to say was:  This Dom gets around ... a lot.

My Dom, as an exercise in control (or possibly sadism), made me spend one entire weekend speaking in the 3rd person.  You don't realize how many times you use the word "I" until you are forced to change it to "this cunt" or "this fuckhole".  I laughed a lot (he knew I would)

I don't know about them being real... I know that Santa is real but that's a given...

I've never met anyone that spoke like that in real time, although I've talked to some online that swear they do and I suppose if you weren't really paying attention it could be confused with someone that doesn't know english very well.

As far as you "getting around"... that much I know.... just wish one of those stops was here in Indiana.

Now... about your butt....

Prove it.

I feel sad for the person who feels they have to settle for someone who "accepts" and "respects" as the person you form the primary long term bond in your life with.

Granted, those two are key to any lasting foundation for a relationship...but slavery isn't about martyrdom, it's not supposed to be "forget anything and everything you want."

The REALITY of slavery, for me, means that everyone is fulfilled and thrilled in being who they are with eachother for the rest of their lives.  No, that doesn't mean orgasms round the clock- but it means a lot more than what some people put up with in the name of being "true slaves."

PS- I'll add that I've known scores of owners who DO spend time thinking about ways to please their property.

yikes, i worked with a guy who spoke in third person ALL of the time...drove me bananas...well, it also might have been the snorting he did because of a sinus problem. my former mistress forbade me to speak in third person tg.

geez shifted, you never ask me to prove how nice my butt is...and it is a nice one!

Well, yes......I can't imagine managing to *dictate* anything.

And yes again..........by hook or by crook I do whatever is required of me.

BUT........As LA mentioned.......... My Master DOES spend time thinking of ways to make me smile and wiggle with happiness. I think he likes it.I know I do. In fact, I think he puts an enormous amount of effort into making my life a good one.......certainly far more than I do.

Who are you and what have you done with LA? lmao

Ok, I think this is well stated and realistic. I have to believe that in a TPE relationship that all of the people involved are getting what they need out of it in order to be happy. I don't like the idea of someone "sacrificing" everything to please me.

And ducky.... I've never asked you to prove how nice your butt is cuz somehow I think you would!!!! lmao Besides.... why would you be soooo cruel to me if you aren't willing to live in Indiana?

Tooth Fairy?   What about people who have false teeth. Is there a fairy for them. Why would you think about pleasing your slave. Is it not their place to please you.

Exactly! I read so many saying i give this up i had to give that up, i have to do such and such and i hate it. I think perhaps they should have chosen their partners more carefully.

I am happy all day long, i like what i do, i am content with my life; i have a great deal of fun.

And yes, both Scooter and Jewel make sure i am enjoying life, that i have stuff i want to do, supplies for my hobbies, tools for working on the bikes,  books i love to read, things that please me.

Jewel ordered the rest of a set of Steven King books under the guise of having suddenly developed a passion to read them herself because she knew i would be uncomfortable about her spending that kind of money on books when i would wait until they were on sale.

Scooter spent a good bit of time last week finding exactly the perfect pair of fuzzy slippers in my favorite color and size because he knew i would not and he wanted to keep me happy and warm.

They have even stopped to push me to go pick out stuff when we are shopping or flea marketing etc because they think i hold back and only choose one or two things when in truth i am just not a wanting type of person.

When I was with my late Master, I was expected to ALWAYS use third person speech; in private and in public. Yes, it became a bit confusing for others, but they never commented on it, just looked a bit oddly at me.

Maybe because you value them as a slave and a human being?

Possible because they have put so much time into pleasing you?

Perhaps because if you love something, be it a dog, cat, car or a house you spend time taking care of it and keeping it in good operating order?

Could it be that a happy well cared for slave is going to provide better service than a mentally, emotionally and physically run down one?

Scooter and Jewel might not be true and real owners since they do take the time to see that i am pleased, happy, content and well cared for but i think you may find many who would disagree with you there.
