ORIGINAL: JerseyKrissi72 if i felt like burning a flag i would.... I inherited my grandfather's flag from his service in World War 2. It has the wrong number of stars on it, and would be considered illegal and unconstituational to fly today. If I were to retire it according to constitutional law, I would burn it. If I burned it based on constitutional law, I would be more than happy to tell people watching me burn it that I strongly object to the things that retard who Dumbfuckistan elected is doing, while I was burning it to honor my grandfather. I imagine there are people in this country who would try to "kick my ass" if I were to do so. I see their desire to do kick my ass for burning his flag as an insult to the sacrifices my grandfather made in World War 2. When you spend 4 years dodging torpedoes while your spouse gets to see you 3 weeks in all that time, and your uncle raises your own children, then you might have a pot to piss in and a window to throw it out or on the whole "Im more of a patriot than you are" thread. Until then, spend some time learning what your founding fathers actually fought and died for and show some decency and respect for the ideals they fought to maintain. "There are things in life that may or may not be true, but it is important for people to believe in them just the same." Robert Duvall, Secondhand Lions. But that is just me, and I could be wrong. Sinergy p.s. I suspect their attempts to "kick my ass" may not go the way they hoped. As was stated in the movie Roadhouse, "People who go around looking for a fight are usually not much of a problem for people who are ready for them." p.p.s. I think it might be time to go liberate some spiders so I can feel better about humanity.
