I have a shirt that says, "I'm not mean, you're just a sissy." I wear that to work...and have worn it while traveling on a number of occassions. The TSA agents at the airport have gotten a kick out of it more than once. The real ironic trip, though, was when I had to go to the emergency room right when I landed and spent about...oh...eternity...screaming in the waiting room with a kidney stone.

I also have a shirt that says, "Flirt harder, I'm a scientist." That one gets grins, too...but no one seems to flirt harder, damnit. But then, I'm a scientist so maybe I just don't notice?

I luuuuuuv havin fun...but then the problem is that I kind of don't know my limits...I can find something funny in public..that you shouldn't be laughing at..and then at times like at..funerals or some..very serious things... and then the problem I have is that I just can't avoid laughing nor stop I just end up in a laughterattack and then sometimes all the people around me have ended up laughing too..and ya know..it's not a good thing to do at funerals could shoot myself for doing it..but I just aint..mature enough I guess

I hope that people DO laugh at my funeral, I want them to remember what a goof I was in life!

Skipping over the Mr Microphone and dishes part..........ahem.......

If I cannot have humour as part of my interaction with the people in my life, well, they quickly become NOT a part of my life. I have been known to plot and plan for weeks for a few minute long practical joke. Even bought a book on how to make little paper boats that would float in a toilet bowl once. (its a long story)

My biggest problem is that I tend to laugh in situations others find, less than humorous. I usually can excuse myself so that I can laugh in private then compose myself before offending people but there has been an occasion or two I did not make a new friend.

Ok ma'am you sound just like my mom because that is so something my mom would do. my entire life she was always play practical jokes on everyone, you became a friend or part of the family and you where fair game... one of the things I love about her... and she is awsome at pullong off this long planed elaberate practical jokes!!! LOL She just did to my older brother not that long ago.

NO ONE IS SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for all your comments and replies.  Alot of them had me chuckling all day.  Like, "if I wanted you looking at my ass, I would have written something on it" and the new dishes, smile like a donut, pottery barn catalogue as porn scenario.

Before today, I never ever thought I'd start wondering about tickle torture, but now I'm wondering about tickle torture.

Ohhh, now crying is a huge one for me. Not in others but in myself. It is just something I rarely allow myself to do.

Not to say that you are doing this... But Suppression of emotions is a big one to me!  I don't like it and never will.  Both my girls are very much encouraged and validated in expressing their feelings not matter the feelings... It's just a question of the appropriate manner that they are expressed.  Crying can and is rather appropriate way to express painful emotions and it is something that I find very empowering for our relaitonship when they share these feelings.

KoM, you are correct. I have learned very well how to surpress emotions. From a very early age I learned that it was a necessary part of survival. Even as an adult in relationships crying was/has been something that always created more problems rather than less. It is something that IF I do it is done in private where no one else can be subject to the discomfort it causes. It tends to only upset/anger people more. I prefer to not have to deal with angry people yelling at me for crying when I am already upset.

I believe I may even have a theme song that was sung by Aretha Franklin........a line something about "the smile on my face is the make-up I wear" ......"to hide the tracks of my tears" ....

Humour and laughter are MUCH better emotions to express!

I want a shirt that says "Stop reading my shirt!" and some pants that have on the back, "If I wanted you to look at my ass I'd have written something on it!"

I want one with really small writing that says "If you can read this you're too close to my tits"

I've learned to find the positives and seek the humor in most situations and it really helps me get through the bad times. As far as WIIWD, yes I have fun and I enjoy myself. There are times for fun and laughter and there are times for seriousness and times for sweet love and cuddling. It's all good and each has it's place in life. If I wasn't having fun and enjoying myself and feeling whole, then I wouldn't be doing it. It's a matter of finding the right times for humor and seriousness and sometimes I find humor at the wrong time. I'm only human. Enjoy life to the fullest. Live it.

This is something i feel quite strongly about as i sometimes feel having fun should be one of the main reasons why we do something and sometimes we can get soo bogged down we forget to have fun.

As yet i do not have an answer to keep it lighthearted but as long as it doesnt get REALLY serious which some people in BDSM can do i think you can always make up your own fun!
