i'm a 41 year old professional man who's been happily married for over ten years. i've recently learned that my wife has been unfaithful to me with a variety of men for as long as we've been married and perhaps even while we were engaged. i'm surprised to find that i am completely turned on by the idea, as pathetic as it sounds. part of it is because i am still utterly taken by my wife. she's forty but looks thirty. she's intelligent and witty. and she's completely sexy--long straight black hair, a soft pale little body, and tiny pretty little breasts. i've long enjoyed her propensity to wear clothes that are sometimes a touch too revealing--perhaps a skirt that's a little too short or tight or perhaps a blouse that's a little too thin or low cut. i've long enjoyed the fact that she likes the admiring gazes of men--strangers and friends and coworkers. i just didn't know she was enjoying more than that.

is there a particular place at this site or elsewhere where i might explore my interest in being cuckholded by my pretty little wife? i've never felt particularly submissive before, but since discovering my plight i've gone completely weak.

er, sorry for the interruption..

but could you try not to use the term "oriental" ? it actually is a pretty offensive term, even on the most basic level; becuase it shows ignorance about the asian cultures and history.

"oriental" is one of those american/british slang terms that they developed in early dealings with asian people. To be honest, calling asians "orientals" is just as bad as calling africans(african-suffix) "niggers". It's simply a derogatory or callous term from a time of a little more ignorance, and to continue using it today.. seems more than a little rude.

the "orient" doesnt exist anymore. there is no "east" part of a world that isnt relative.

so please show your wife, and every other asian, asian-american or otherwise some respect at least when you talk about them.

I got curious about this and asked a friend of mine about it (she is of Asian descent) and she said that it is indeed a derogatory term. I have seen people actually flinch when it is used in casual conversation and even by professors (!). Most of the time it is let go because no one knows that it's insulting and it's one of those fights that no one wants to take on. If more people would speak up then perhaps we can spread the word that this term is insulting.

I looked it up !!!

Orient is the opposite of Occident ( according to my OED ). It means The East, which is any country east of the Mediterranean & Southern Europe. Oriental is the adjective of the eastern or Asiatic world, or its civilisation, or means a native of the East.

Nigger on the other hand is a colloquial expression usually with contempt.

Has your wife never enlightened you about the use of the word "orient" to refer to an asian? Surprising.

An asian once told me that the origin of the term "oriental" to refer to an asian was based in the premise that asians were well 'oriented' to servitude and/ or indenture and from there comes the slight.

I can't say that I've researched it to confirm or deny it, but it made sense to me when I heard it.

I have to admit I find this interesting. Words that are considered *slurs* in the English language (American) are stated such in the dictionary. Take for example:

nigger, Chink, honky, spic, wet back....

Well, I might be able to find and/or think of others, but the point is each of the words about AS PART of their definitions states that they *often ofensive* or something to that nature. The word *Oriental* however, does not. It there are those of Asian heritage that find it so, it could be that it is no different from a submissive finding it offensive to be called a slave, or an eighteen year old finding it offensive to be called a child.

I have used the word *Oriental*, though someone I would refer to as such may find it offensive, but when I use it, I use it with this dictionary definition:

Main Entry: Oriental
Function: noun
Date: 15th century
: a member of one of the indigenous peoples of the Orient

Orient:
2 : capitalized: EAST

Yes, the definition goes back fairly fair, and *Asian* is a newer, yet correct definition, but they are still considered *valid* words. I can so no logic in a correlation between referring to someone as Oriental to referring to someone of dark skin with what is a slur on their skin color and nothing more. There are slurs used that do have the some connotation for those of Asian heritage, but it is not Oriental.

Actually, before the common use of the magnetic compass, maps were generally drawn with east at the top of the image (instead of north, as is the convention today).

On woke up in the morning, and turned the map so that the top was towards the sunrise to plot ones course for the day, that is, you oriented the map to the east.

I suspect that the offense is taken at the generalization such as refering to a Maranjah as 'Indian' (I did that once, on a long flight, and after being enlighted as to the cultural, geographic and historical distinctions of the sub-continent for about four hours, I shall never do it again) or confusing a Basque with a Spainard (did that once too- ONCE!)(still have the scar). I also know a lovely nigerain lady who became my fast friend becuase I didn't ask her if she was 'african', but correctly guessed Nigerian.
