Just an observation.
I'm pretty new here but I've been reading the boards for a while and the thing I notice is that Whip seems to like to cause trouble.  I don't get the need to make these kind of statements other than to raise the ire of certain people.  I guess it's a control of sorts.

So it would seem. Some online corner time might be in order perhaps?

I normally would agree with you here. I generally find his posts to be boring, unimaginative rabble, but for some reason, I feel like a good laugh at his expense today [:)]

Oh Whip!  Do not go poking the Pros with a stick again!!

Men have the power in the world.
Men control the money in the world.

The one thing they can not control is their desire for immediate gratification.

Women control that... and you are at our mercy.  It may not be pretty.. but it's true.

And I betcha..I just BETcha!  That it was a man who first offered the woman money for her attentions.

No, chemicals running through the body create love, but love like
pleasure, pain, anxiety, fear, and other human emotions is not
material.

> Bill Gates didn't get what he got through love.

No, Bill Gates got where he got by stealing MS-DOS from Gary Kildall.  Tim Paterson
while a salaried employee of Seattle Computer Products spent a short time modifying
CP/M for Seattle Computer Products, so it would run on Intel's 8088 chip. He did
this because Seattle Computer Products was coming out with a new micro computer
built around the 8088 chip, and Gary Kildall refused to modify CP/M for them.

Tim called his modification Q-DOS, because it was a Quick and Dirty modification
of CP/M.  In court, Gary Kildall hit a few keys on a keyboard of computer loaded
with a proper version of MS-DOS, and Kildall's copyright notice (Digital Research)
popped up on the screen.

Bill Gates also got where he got by blatently violating the Sherman Anti-Trust act
for ten year threatening not to give or sell any of his products to any company who
did business with a competitor.

> Bush and co certainly aren't doing it with love

And this proves what?  That love is not the best
reason for living?

I say it.   I know plenty of millionaires who can't find love,
and would gladly pay for it if they could.

> For the right price you can get anyone to love anyone, or at least

That you believe this is too sad to be funny.

Probably. But only to persuade her he was OK, after she'd been abused by the other men in the cave.

And don't forget all of the other cavemen who lined up to high five the guy, publicly chastised and labeled the woman a whore, and then slipped her a note during study hall asking when she might be available.

Let's get technical here please. Love is nothing more than a WORD used to describe a feeling. Nothing more, nothing less.

Iskander -> RE: Pro-Dommes, Prostitution, and sexual burnout. (10/17/2006 7:23:27 AM)

Yes, chemical induced feelings...

But are the chemicals released by the feelings, or the feelings caused by the chemicals?

LMAO
Hmm dayum
Ok lol
good question

My opinion would be that the feelings are caused by the chemicals, because without the chemcals, you could not have the feeling, and therefore, would not be able to put a name to them.

Geesh.......that made no sense at all [&:]

It makes perfect sense kalira, exactly the same answer I would give...

When I used the word "love," I meant that which the word "love" denotes,
I did not mean to refer the written symbol, itself.

. . . Only on the Internet do you get such obtuseness.

When I used the word "love," I meant the thing that the word "love" denotes, not the word, "love," itself.

And what would that 'thing' be? Please elaborate [:)] Obviously, the actual word can be used to describe many things. Narrow down your generalization please.

There are plenty of men with no money and no power.  In the United States,
there are plenty of women with more power and money than most men.

ThePrincessBych -> RE: Pro-Dommes, Prostitution, and sexual burnout. (10/17/2006 7:49:20 AM)

He seems to know alot about abused & mistreated women... perhaps he saw quite a bit of this a child in his home? Maybe it is YOU  that is damaged goods.. You obviously have a serious perception problem. I cannot imagine you having much luck or success in this world with these types of generalizations coming out of your mouth. Let me guess..you also think that all southerners are stupid and sleep with their sister and all black people are "ghetto"? and all hispanics are Mexicans? LOL It sounds like some exposure & culture would do you good..

btw...Ive been loved & Ive been rich..If I had a choice now Id choose rich everytime LOL...because you can always find love when you're rich. (go ahead and attack that..it was a bit of sarcasm.)
** Fyi...insults have been thrown at pro dommes forever by men who cannot afford to visit one and think this is a GREAT way to get free humiliation to get their little rocks off.. hate to tell ya..all these women saw right through it..its been done a MILLION times on this board***

Jasmyn -> RE: Pro-Dommes, Prostitution, and sexual burnout. (10/17/2006 7:55:12 AM)

quote:

Pro Dommes are not prostitutes, but both Pro Dommes and prostitutes <snip> engage in activities that diminish their chance of ever having a loving relationship.

Curious, what activities are those?  Haven't found being a pro dom has affected or lessened opportunities, and/or longevity, and/or love within the relationships I've had.

But anyway back to those activities ... like whoring themselves for $$'s and seeing the seedy side of a male?  That any many can be brought, all a girl needs to do is name her price ... sex on tap...whore or wife... choose a side ...

Funny enough, I have had more acceptance of what I do in the vanilla community than the d/s...

So looking forward to your explaining what activities engaged in are lessening our chances of ever having loving relationships.

quote:

Due to mistreatment by some male (or many males) in their past, Pro-Dommes
and prostitutes do not seek loving relationships.

When you have a link or article or study or stats to back up that statement be sure to post it here.

quote:

Most masochists get pleasure by giving pleasure.   Since Pro-Dommes really

don't get pleasure from their work, and do it mostly for the money, most
masochists do not get true satisfaction by hiring them.   I would never hire
Pro-Domme, because ALL my pleasure as a masochist comes from giving
pleasure, from feeling I am giving not taking.

I would say this is true of anyone scening with anyone who is just going through the motions.  This maybe your experience with prostitutes and pro dommes but it is not true of all.  Don't be so quick to make the leap a pro dom does not enjoy domination... many do.

Guess it comes back those who hold the attitude,  professional domination is not real domination because they're paying for it, which I have to ask, does that make sex with a prostitute, not really sex?

quote:

I would get more sexual satisfaction out of fixing her car or her plumbing than
have her do something for me sexual primarily for money.  That is insulting to
me, and is insulting to her.

And if she was fucking you to get her car fixed?

quote:

Why don't most prostitutes and Pro-Dommes want to be in a loving relationship?
I think it is because they have been misused my males, and are not capable
of forming an intimate, trusting relationship with any male.  Or they fear, putting
themselves in a position where another male will just use their body, and take
abuse their heart.   They fear being misused, abused, and taken advantage of
by another male.   Whenever males have been in control in their lives, they have
always gotten the short end of stick.

Cheers,
Michael

I pro dom because I enjoy alt mind games ... I love nothing more than realising he really is shitting his pants ... considering just how much I can fuck with his head ... I love the theatrics, I love the dance ...
