Has anyone ever noticed that it's usually the men that use the "I was sexually abused and that's why I sexually abused" theory?? I mean, I am sure women have also, but by no means as much as the men have. It's just another way to try and get out of taking responsibility for their own actions. It gets very old, and very tiring. I was abused, and I was raped..would that excuse me going and doing the same thing?? Nope, not one bit. I am still a person that makes my own personal choices, good and bad, and I should be expected to deal with the backlash from them. I think what makes me more frustrated is that he is an openly gay, republican, that probably would have won again (in case no one noticed, there aren't many of those). He is just giving fuel to the fire that all gay men were abused, or are abusers of kids. That is something that the right-wing people don't need any more help with. Shame on him for pulling out the "abuse card", step up and own what you did, or you didn't do. Quit putting it off on everyone else, and using the "poor me" syndrome. Akasha
