Condolences to NE and SF. Now its the best offense v. the best defense at Giants Stadium. Weather will be a huge factor. If it's nice an pretty -- DEN will have the advantage, but if it's cold, blustery, and raining SEA will have the advantage.

Question to the mods - I haven't been following the recent guidelines regarding newcomers to the forums. Is it 51 posts before we can skin them, or does the fun start at 26?

National Football League...but for my team...sadly it has come to mean "NOT FREAKIN' LIKELY"

it can also mean:
no free lunch
negative feedback loop
nerd for life

OK, so I just read the NFL is thinking about changing the date on the superbowl because the weather might be bad. Give me a FUCKING break. Let's just end it now and start playing touch football. Oh, and mandatory sensitivity training in the locker rooms. What a joke...

Because of all the rules and regulations (mostly due to the ridiculous ones OFF the field), lots of people have started referring to it as the (N)o (F)un (L)eague.

I was at my favorite restaurant, tonight and the NFL Network was on. One of their top stories (and one they seemed to continually go back to) was: "JETS looking to draft Receivers" as if that's some kind of breaking news?

The JETS have been losing hemorrhaging offensive "weapons" since Rex Ryan was brought on board.

They made a really bad decision when they opted for Geno Smith over Matt Simms, this past year. Matt may not be his father but he definitely isn't his brother.

As soon as I heard Johnson had been cut, I knew this was coming:

JETS Sign Johnson

I have to admit; I like this move although I don't think it'll help much. J-E-T-S still stands for: (J)ust (E)nd (T)he (S)eason

I'm still amazed. The Cowboys were doing better with Weeden than with Romo BEFORE he got hurt. Then they put him, on an off day, with a good chance of getting a career-ending injury, and after having a hellacious hit, back into play?!?!?! Of course he wasn't playing anywhere near his top form, screwed up a few plays, and the Cowboys lost.

Yeah,it was a good week to be a Giant fan...The Eagles lost, the Cowboys lost(who cares that the Redskins won ) and the Giants managed to not lose a game(okay it was their bye week,so losing wasn't actually in the cards)
Go G- Men

The Jets can at least be happy they're not the Raiders. It'll be interesting to see how they do this week with Vick starting in place of Geno.

Well if it wasn't for the Raiders...and beating them the first week the Jets would most certainly be playing for the number one pick....again.
But the Raiders set the bar pretty low ....don't they?

I think we should make an exception this time...at 22. OK, ok 23.

Oh, and at least Washington beat Dallas. I am happy.

.....but Haslett had his finest hour and it was a good one. Had to say because he's never had a 'finest' hour before. (shouilda been right behind Shanahan when he was canned)

Thanx for the link, that was unnerving. I thought you meant Brad Johnson who I think is like...50something. (OK 46)
