a) Is it possible that Rodgers is the best at that position .....ever ?

GB has lost its last seven road games in BUF. NYT pointed this out, and it was an ominous sign hanging over this game v. a dangerous Bills team. GB has a track record of peaking too early....

I always thought of Sanchez as sort of a "poor man's Joe Montana"; he could do some really good things, in the right system.

I was mildly impressed with his performance, the first couple of weeks but I knew a game like this was looming, on the horizon.

My lady, Beth, has been breaking my balls, lately about switching my allegiances. I don't think most ladies understand that guys just can't do that, but she did get an admission out of me that if I were going to support any other team besides Gang Green in the AFC, it would be the Steelers. Our uniforms were copies of the Steelers and I always enjoyed the Steel Curtain (being, essentially, a defensive player, myself).

I have mixed feelings about the Broncos-Chargers game. Obviously, I'm happy with the result, especially since it came on the road against a very good team, and Manning was sick with the flu.

The defense was a monster, and killed the Bolts. Our offense wasn't that bad but kept getting FGs instead of TDs. The Charger's kicker was abysmal and that helped us a lot. Had he made two FGs that he should have, the game would have been very different.

Yeah....I second that.

Once again.....the Eagles get through most of the season with a really good fighting chance of going all the way. Then they get to about week 12 and they start going down in flames.

Very rarely do they ever have a totally shit season (like Oakland). The Eagles usually get to week 12 in good standing....and then everything falls apart.

But....still.....
