SEA learned its closing skills from GB. I'm stunned by the outcome. The Ghost of David Tyree almost struck NE again -- but Pete Carrol had other ideas.

NE turned the ball over 2x. NE let SEA score so quickly and easily. Then, out of the blue, an undrafted rookie CB bails out the whole team. Reminds me somewhat of NE victory over BAL where Lee Evans was stripped of a game winning TD catch at the end.

I just wonder which method of cheating the cheatriots used, this time and if we'll ever find out.

Sorry but as long as Belicheat is the coach, their achievements are questionable to me.

Seriously fuck off Michael the Pats won it fair and square. If you want to blame someone blame Bennett.

The last play called was just stupid.
And the officials made lots of mistakes some in favor of Seattle but most in favor of NE.
Don't get me wrong I would root for the Raiders if they were playing NE.
And when the Raiders play the Redskins I root for the EMTs.

It always makes me smile when Jets fans cry. Every tear they shed makes the baby jesus smile. [:D]

Heres where we lost the game, look at Lanes' wrist

That hurt you guys, but on the one yard line, with a guy who can get one yard in his sleep, you pass the ball. That is where the Seahawks lost.

Ah bullshit! If one player is all they had they weren't going to win anyway. Face it, the Pats are simply the better team.

No, the Patriots were equally matched. This was one hell of a good football game, one of the better Super Bowl's in history. In the long run, a really stupid decision took the game away from the Seahawks. Losing the defensive player did hurt them, but it didn't cost them the game.

Edited because I didn't proofread first.

"So that's what a Seahawk tastes like!"

cloudboy -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (2/1/2015 8:09:13 PM)

He's whiner through and through.

Brady is just such a focused assassin. Half his passes are thrown to the Hobbits of Edleman and Amendola, and he only has one legititate down field target, Gronkowski. The whole offense features just one 1st RD pick -- a testament to NE system of developing players.

Last year SEA just dismantled DEN -- and I'd argue the skill players on DEN are better than the ones on NE. (Its a bit of an apples and oranges comparison, but to me NE lacks a #1 WR and any kind of a star RB.)

BAL was never able to stop them in playoffs; albeit we had a secondary taped together from the waiver wire and practice squad.

Now that you all have had a moment to curse me, maybe you will give some thought to this reminder.

This is not a Feisty section and it will not continue as if it is. From this point on, if there are any post that do not meet with guidelines of this section, they will be removed and there will be a ban. If I have to sit here and make sure everyone plays nicely with good sportsmanship, I will close the thread.

Play nice or don’t play. Thank you

When a moderator has to clean up a thread, that means they have to clean the whole thread. I am not doing that. I don't care who expects it. Please do not challenge me on this one because I am sure that those I answer to would not expect that.

When members knowingly break rules and some are in my face over it and try to blame me for trying to temper things, we will have a problem. I will not be abused or threatened because members insist that I run the forum the way they want it run. You don't sign my paycheck. Heck, no one does. I will do what is expected of me by those that can tell me what to do.

If you have issue with me, do feel free to email Support.

edit: my changed to me

Seattle fans are already calling for Darrell Bevell's head even though Carrol says the decision to throw the ball was his, based on the Pat's defensive configuration. It's going to be an ugly offseason in Seattle :/

joether -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (2/2/2015 3:06:26 AM)

the Patriots and Seahawks was a tough game. In the closing parts, it was...STILL....anyone's game. The team that usually wins the game, is the one with the fewest number of errors. The interception by the Seahawks gave the ball to the Patriots in the closing part of the 4th. That one of the seahawk's got penalized for off-sides, mean the Patriots didn't have to make a play to out out of the endzone.

The Seahawks play a good game. the Patriots played a good game. Lets be thankful it was not a 'blow out game' like the Patriots vs. Colts....

I was disgusted when the Seahawk players lost their cool and started fighting. This is football, not baseball!

Which is exactly what I was trying to say and obviously didn't. Using the excuse that losing that one player was the reason they lost is pure bullshit. Yup a really stupid decision cost them the game. I was impressed with how well both played, the game was a very exciting one.
