Wow. I would not thought he had much of a chance; the Vikings defense wasn't exactly prime rib, it's more like meatloaf.

A bears pats rematch of 212 years ago. The bears "D" was unstoppable that year.BUDDY ryan won't be there this time so things will be a little diffrent.

"The rumor mill is churning with the notion Mike Tomlin will fill the Pittsburgh Steelers' head coaching vacancy. But the lead candidate says such talk is premature at best.
In what Tomlin said was his only phone interview of the night, he told FOXSports.com that the Steelers said they want to sleep on their decision overnight, and that no decision has been made yet. "

If they are serious about giving Rivera equal time, they have to wait until the Bears are out of the playoffs to give him an interview.
The SI story is unconfirmed by the Steelers.
As I've said before, if that job goes to anyone other than Russ Grimm, I will be surprised.

This is just a random NFL related note, but I just noticed that Ditka's right thumb is fucked up -- it doesn't look like he can straighten it out, and the knuckle at the base of it looks to be about the size of a walnut.

Old battle wound.

GO SAINTS!!!!! ONE GAME TO THE SUPERBOWL
First time in the history they have gotten this far, if they win I will be happy , if they lose I will still be happy , I was there with the bags I will be there today.

KatyLied -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/21/2007 9:01:32 AM)

I like Drew Brees.  The Saints were storybook this year.  But for some reason (Urlacher, perhaps), I'm hoping that good Rex and Hester have a big day.  Sean Payton returns home.
