For me....the whole "male panties" thing is rather pointless. They already make male underwear almost exactly like womens panties.

Personally...i like the way they fit..ive always had a thin frame so they fit me perfectly. Wear them just about every day in fact.

Perhaps it isn't the same for a big male. But i think the feminine ones made for males are usually too baggy.

I lived with a very masculine, ex-football player some 30 years ago (long before I discovered Alt. Lifestyle).  I accidently discovered he liked to wear my undies; and pantyhose, too.  I found it more than a little exciting and erotic as hell. 
 
The only thing that bugged me was once he found out I wasn't squicked by it all; he wanted to wear 'em ALL the time and wouldn't have sex with me unless he at least had on pantyhose.  That got boring as hell.

My crossdressing has pretty much originated in early childhood and a part of my overall persona
that i have found i cannot live without.....but Ive always kept in mind it isn't appreciated all the time.
The girlfriends that I have had that did tolerate it I always treated like gold and didn't dress around them
unless they were either in the mood for it...or told me it was ok.

as always...communication is the key. I think i still get misunderstood no matter what I do though.

My problem is...most of the ones who did tolerate and like this part of me...always eventually leave
for a "normal" guy.

My curse.

after reading you posting about panties made for men. as a long time panty wearing male this is how i feel i have no idea how others feel about them but for me honestly .  its the types of materials or fabrics as well as colors and prints that come with panties.   and there comfy  tooo. also the type of cut there made for women so they d be smaller in crotch and tighter and there made for a woman so any one whos saw  you in them could or should be able too see there girl panties and for submissives like me its a turn on or a humiliation i like and want

Would the same hold true for you, sissify?  Do you prefer the panties to actually be women's panties.......or would it matter if they were panties made to be 'like' panties made for women.........but made for men?

Obviously, I can't speak for the others, but what always attracted me to women's panties was the variety of textures available.  A few months ago, I had a month-long thing with a Domme who was new to me that didn't at all like men in women's panties.  I usually wore my silk boxers or something else such as "posers" when with her instead.  When it comes to women's panties, I do prefer hi-cuts as I'm hi-wasted to begin with and I'd normally wear the "low rise" equivalent in men's briefs anyway. [:D]

It was something I was more than happy to compromise on, when I considered the overall picture.  She even spoke of having "male" underwear made for me constructed with the fabrics of her choosing; knowing it was really the sensation of the lace and other fabrics which in fact pushed my buttons.  I'd have no problem being held in a pouch of a Mistress' own design. [;)] 

To be honest, I've seen little difference in plain cotton ones made for either sex, other than a bit more room in the crotch in the men's version and a label that's usually on the opposite side.  I do agree with the others that for me women's panties tend to be made a bit tighter in the crotch with a bit less room for my "package", which might in fact intensify the sensation produced by the fabrics.  As to being embarrased, I've been taken to the emergency room before while wearing them.  I've felt a bit of panic when I realized it for a moment.  But at the time, I was in such need of treatment, that I really didn't care and I'm sure they'd seen other things of far more interest and much more worthy of gossip.  In the end I didn't care and didn't worry in the least. [:D]

I've since worn them to the doctor's on numerous times and didn't bother to think anything of it.  So to me, its really about how secure a man is in his own mind that matters.  If someone else snickers, its really their own issue.  If they choose to judge me, then that's their choice to make.  Should I let someone I don't know affect my self esteem?  I choose to think not! [:)]

For me it would not be the same. I like the idea that my panties are made for women. But then again, I never tried the ones made for men to look like womens. Yes, I am a cross dresser...have been since about age 10. Like most of us CDs, it starts at an early age.
So I do wear panties everyday. I have for many years. Not only the idea that they are made for women, but because they honestly do look and feel so much better. I think men's underwear, the plain  tidywhities things are about the ugliest thing in the world. A complete turn off on me or seeing them on anyone.  But then again, I am not into men in anyway, so I do not find men in underwear attractive at all. I don't know how any woman would want to see a guy in them ugly things! lol    
I am sorry to hear that your husband had to wear at least pantyhose to have sex. for me, it was always kind of a rare treat when my past wife wanted me to wear something feminine to bed. I did not impose my cross dressing desires on her. Partly because I was protective of my male persona and wanted to be all male for her most of the time. She accepted that I was a CD and had no problem with it at all. I was free to dress anytime I wanted to dress fem. But again, I was careful to not go over-board with my desires with it. That was long before I discovered my need and desire to be a submissive. We lived a vanilla life with a few kinks thrown in as do most couples. But I did not even think about D/s or BDSM back then.

But now, I have found the ONE. All my dreams, wishes and desires concerning my being a CD and wearing panties are taken care of... along with my need for a loving D/s relationship. I am one very happy lucky man in panties!

Wearing women's underwear produces different effects depending on the submissive. An old addage states that noone can make you feel humilation without your permission. CD has never been exciting for me. I once served a Mistress that put me in a nice lace camasal and panties, and instantly you could tell that this was not designed to flatter the male body. I did not feel humilation or shame, it just appeared out of place. I wore it for the weekend to please her, but she must not have received the reward she desired as she never placed me in women's underwear again. If you enjoy this fetish, I wish you happiness, but not all are as enthralled as others.

I dont think its humiliating...but some of the male submissives do.
I agree it makes them more submissive in some ways.
The thing I have seen is some wear them once and never go back...

Womens panties.

They fit and feel better.

For me anyway.

I agree completely.  Nothing fits quite like women's panties. The masculine ones usualy look wrong, the fit is not the same.
Granted sometimes, the panties I would LIKE to see my boy in dont fit quite how I intended.  It took us some time to find ones that fit his body correcty, since he is not easy to fit clothes to in general.  Anything worth doing, however, is worth doing right.  While I am sure it would have ben easier to find panties made for male wear that fit better, his own words were "I want to be a girl, not be a boy pretending to be a girl"
So, we kept looking.

It used to be fun to take a vanilla friend of mine who was just getting curious about the lifestyle and go shopping with her for things for Angel.  I have yet to get him brave enough to actualy go with me to a store and shop, but I plan on it once I move.  After all, I have a rough time figuring out what wil fit him since he is so little... no reason not to have him along to at least help wiht the guesstimates

Merely placing man a man into panties is not humiliating in the least. Forcing a man though to shop for panties and be humiliated in front of a salesgirl who knows they are going to be specifically for him is a riot ! Another great panty humiliation is having the sub wear panties on a daily basis while out with the boys for a night on the town or while at work. Lastly, panties in public, whether a whale tail sticking out at the local mall, sunbathing at the park, or serving at a play party with the frilliest of frillies can all be achieved with just simple pair of panties.

Do you really think its fair to speak for most the guys without really knowing them all...Have you done some sort survey that proves your statement I would love to see it.
And how many is most??
I have met countless guys here and only one or two(guys) of them didnt like it.
So to say most men arenot into it is inaccurate...it should be some men not most.

I dont think panties are always humiliating. kitten posted here some where
that hes putting his Mistress's undies...he also wears them to work,I had said he didnt have to...but he loves  knowing what hes wearing and no one else knows.

hanna does stuff like wear a bra or girdle and of course girlie panties.
Both hanna and kitten have been trained to sit while peeing they obey that request whenever possible.
